Just picked up a Genzler Magellan 800 (delivered yesterday). I've only had a chance to mess with it for about an hour earlier today, but I'm already loving it. I've experimented with some of the numerous tonal options, and they ALL sound good! It'll take me awhile before I find my "default" setting! 
Years ago, I began my foray into the Genz-Benz gear by purchasing a G-B Shuttle 9.0 and an Uber 410 cab. Loved them so much that I picked up another Shuttle 9.0 about a year later to have as a backup. I also have a G-B Contour 115 combo and a Contour 115 extension cab.
Lately, I've been considering trying either a Magellan 800 or a Mesa Subway 800 D. Read a lot about both, and haven't heard anything negative about either one. I sold one of my Shuttle 9.0's to help offset the cost of a new head. I ended up getting the Magellan, and today was the first chance I had to try it out a bit. I'm very impressed. I'm looking forward to trying my various basses through it to see if I like different settings for all, or if one particular combination just blows me away. Thanks Jeff Genzler for continuing to put out such great products!

While I’m using my 12-3 for my weekly church gig and haven’t had much opportunity to let the 110-2 breath, I did play it a bit Thursday with the 350 head and my Sire (V7 4 string fretted) bass. I cut the trebles to about 11:00, turned the mid sweep to its highest setting and the level to 11:00, bass to 1:00, B contour about 10:30 and the passive tone down about 50% on the bass (I often keep the Sire here regardless of cab used with active controls flat)... and the volume to about the level I use on Sunday mornings or even a little higher... just gorgeous.
It takes a bit more EQ to get the sound to where I want with this cab than with its bigger brother but I can get there with that little bit more of EQ... and it is amazing what this tiny cab can do. Footprint and schlepability are simply amazing
Today I used the two cabs as my "PA" to make announcements at a large Easter Egg Hunt. They worked well for that too. I think two of the same cab -either one - would make a nice, small PA for coffeehouses etc.

I’ve owned just about every setup Makes with 3 of the 12-3’s, 2 of the 210-3’s and now 2 of the 10-2 arrays. I must say that he 10-2 stack is just as good as any I’ve had for what I need. I never come close to using 50% of the volume I had with the bigger rigs. Right now I’ve used the 10-2 rig at about 50-55% volume and it simply amazes me. Genzler just makes the best bass amps you can find.

The MG800 is so easy to get a good sound.. I've never had it so good.. No joking... I have zero things to put on a wishlist.. .All the checks have been checked.

And yeah, if you like the sound of your bass then it’s very easy to dial in a great tone in the MG800. AND, it also can be used as a stand alone amp by using the Aux In or by using the regular input and keeping the EQ flat.
I gigged my Magellan 800 last night on top of a GK NEO 410 4 ohm cab and a GK NEO 112 8 ohm cab with the switch set to 2.67 ohms. It worked very well as I figured it would. I really like this amps versatility and power.

This is my first venture into building, and I'm hooked! anyways, I recorded a demo with my Genzler MG800 set flat, with the contour set on the blue channel and the knob around 2 o clock. Figured I'd share the fat Genzler tones! The bass was ran through my Walrus Deep Six compressor, and into the Genzler, which was DI'd directly to my computer.

Nice job! I think I like the middle pickup soloed the best, followed by all 3 pickups together.
Those are the 2 I've mainly been using .sometime I feel it gets a little boomy for some songs, so I'll flip it to the rear two if I get in that situation .That neck pickup brings the thump! Sometimes too much .

That’s not a combo amp though, that’s just a packaged deal it looks like. The MG 350 and a cab.

No, read the whole blurb. There's a cradle for the head, which is removable.
