Did you order the cover from the Genzler website? I still haven’t found them listed there. How do you order?I ordered a cover from Genzler for my soon to arrive 410-3.. The Cover arrived today!
WOW. I didn't expect it to be so nice.. I didn't know that it was padded with a softer plush lining. I thought it was going to be a simple canvas type slip cover. .. Nope ... NICE TOUCH Jeff!
The 410-3 seems like it may arrive tomorrow by Fedex..
Looking forward to this...
Sorry, I'm running a little behind. We do have these covers in the warehouse but I have not gotten pictures yet to put up on the site. I'll get there.Did you order the cover from the Genzler website? I still haven’t found them listed there. How do you order?

. I was looking at the Barefaced 410,, The main reason is the non traditional 410 approach.. They seemed to find a unique way of eliminating the Beaming and comb filtering effect that happens with 410s and 810s. Many people love that but I always found it annoying and difficult to get a sound that was even in more than just one 2 sq foot area...I have no business even THINKING about a new cab, but I am. I'm just really curious to hear some thoughts from players who've gigged these cabs, especially the 410-3. I've had some discussions with @bebass, who gave me some great insight on the sound. Now, I'd like to hear from some of the guys who play these out. What are your thoughts? How would these compare to a really neutral sounding cab, like a Barefaced or a fEARful? Thanks.
Last year I was looking at a fearful.. Asking many question on this forum.. I got to borrow one from a friend and tired it. It was GREAT but I realized it was NOT my thing for the gigs that i do. It was a little too much of everything for me.. I Liked the low end but it was maybe too much for the type gigs that play. And the fearful is probably impossible to mic too.. Sound guys seem to like micing my cabs...
So before I saw that Genzler released the new 410-3 ...I wanted a compact LOUD cab..Somewhat traditional looking... Some gigs that matters!. Some typical 410 or 810s are worse than others. I didn't know why i disliked it . But after much reading on talkbass over the years and talking with pro sound guys I think i figured it out... Barefaced had a way around that issue that was sort of new but their 410 may be a bit too warm for what i need without having to run EQ real hot...
The gigs that I play need a clean top end that is present and not muted but "Please no tweeters".. LOL
So i kept looking for other options and then i saw the FB add for the new Genzler 410-3.. A few friends have the BA112-3 cabs and LOVE them. People that have heard them raved about them...
Science dictates that the Bass Array idea will eliminate the Beaming that I learned to dislike in other 410s. The 410-3 is rather small in size, lightweight and is 1000 watts at 4Ω.. And it extends up in FREQ to be MORE Full range sounding and not too dark. I could always darken it with a TOne knob if i wanted..
I wrote this and got to HERE and realized you were most likely talking about the BB2 barefaced and not the 410///
I have 3 local gigs this week and three out of town between tonight and Tuesday.. My 410-3 is scheduled to land here tomorrow.. So , I will break it in and report back next week
You are correct on what you say. Please reread my post as it is a neat trick, I was talking about driving a 4 or 8ohm cab/cabs with the 2.67 switch engaged to lower the full power. Not about full power driving a 2.67 load with the 2.67 switch.
Mr. Genzler said above that I am correct, so...(Joking tongue out)

I'll bet Jeff will have some insights to this...I have started playing at the largest church in our area lately and they like to mike the bass cabinets instead of using a DI out. They currently have a rig provided but I thought about keeping my Genzler 350 Stack and the 10-2 arrays there since I think it sounds much better lol. Question I have is has anyone mic'd the Genzler Arrays and how did it do? Where do you recommend the mic be set?
I believe that's going to work!!hey man...can I get a number? Just got my Magellan 800 yesterday, and have a 410-3 on the way! Very happy to be back and working with Jeff again!

Cab arrived just in time for me to take t out on its maiden voyage.. Thank you @Jeff Genzler and Genzler shipping guys for making it happen and using FEDEX.. My UPS guy doesn't get here until 7 pm some days..
I only got to play it for 10 minutes before it was sent off with my helper today..
Its is PUNCHY, and WARM too.. It seems to take EQ very nicely..
See yall top of next week
...and he very conveniently left the 410 for last after we have all fallen in love with the smaller cabs and started wondering, what if...How did you find the weight? And darn you @Jeff Genzler !! I thought I had sworn off 410's......
Last for now yes. Meaning he comes out with all the cabs separately instead of one big launch. No I kind of doubt Jeff is done...So you're thinking of the 410 as being the last, with nothing else to follow?![]()
