As I was sound checking for the two minutes that I had. I thought maybe the cab needed more treble dialed in. Because it didn’t have that somewhat annoying sizzley brightness that we have all become accustomed to with tweeters in cabinets As soon as we started playing. I’ve found that that bright end is there so he had to dial my treble knob back a little bit.
I’m trying to avoid using the every day cliché words to describe this 410-3. But the cabinet does have girth that is able to go deep and has growl and it can deliver beautiful slap tones if you want to with clean pristine top end.
It seems that it basically puts out what and put in.

DAMN SIRI !!! I am driving and writing this with my hands free....Without reading what I'm doing. SIRI is gonna mess it up.. Ill fix it later

PS.. I started out with my Normal EQ setting for my Uber 115. But after the first few songs wound up moving everything to almost 12 o'clock with a slight bass boost at about 1 o'clock and disengaging the Contour...
Today is a different gig style and different band So i will see how i set it up. Im still getting used to the 410-3.. Its closer to a "Blank Canvas" than I am used to. And I really like it.

I was fortunate to acquire this new-unused from the TB classifieds. I've had it for a week now and really like it. As mentioned, it is very even, seamless, smooth from lowest to highest frequencies and responsive to EQ. My Demeter VTBP-M-800D is pictured here but I have the Magellan 800 as well. I play the Magellan most of the time at home because of its aux in and headphone jack but both amps are stellar. The Magellan serves up a wider palette of tones but the Demeter does what it does so well. With this BA410-3 it is the sauce! With the Magellan it sounds best to me with the tone controls at noon and the contour barely on at 8:00. This cab is efficient and can get very loud if you need it to. The BA12-3 gets a lot of love here for good reason and I had a pair for a while but this fits my sound better. It's not quite as mid forward or as round on the bottom but I like the shape and envelope of the low end and it has a more percussive punch. Excellent cab!

Playing my NS Design EUB through the Genzler rig has really upped my desire for a fretless. The mids are just so nice and clear..

Yes.. SEAMLESS.. Its really smooth as silk without spikes..
Not as mid forward as some cabs... To me it sounds FLAT .. But Not bad flat.. It can GROWL too. Growl with bottom that is tight
I used my Octave pedal yesterday as well as some OD.. Cab takes OD very well.. And after using the Octave pedal I think it is officially broken in..
Cab get very loud with a little power and with lots of power it get REAL LOUD.

I have had my 12-3's for over a year and half, and I experienced this yesterday at an audition with a new band. I did a quick soundcheck before we started, and I thought exactly the same thing. Hmmm, the high-end is not where I thought it should be. Now granted, i was standing almost even with the stack, if not a bit behind it (we rehearsed in a small living room in a circular set up. I considered boosting the treble on my Dingwall, but held off. When we started playing, I was absolutely thrilled at how the higher notes just smoothly cut through with no sizzle and no annoying brightness. Also, it was so awesome how those cabs just filled up the space with sublime tone for everyone in the circle.

As tempted as I am to try a 410-3, I just cannot see it happening any time soon. My 12-3's were sublime!

I think the BA cabs shine where it counts most. on the gig.. It is noticeably different that what we have become accustomed to.. In a GOOD way ..
It's not my forte and I'm really not good at breaking down the tiniest of details in a review.. But I do know what works.. The BA works

Yes, I asked Jeff recently and he confirmed.....MG350 "messenger" bag for the head will be in stock in about 1 month. In the way. And the cover for the BA10-2 cab has been sampled and just needs to be ordered into stock, less than a month too. That is from the horses (not agedhorses) mouth. Hope this helps. Email me if you'd like to order.

The 410-3 cab is amazing.. It doesn't seem loud because it is so SMOOTH sounding BUt Holy COw it moves air..
It is very articulate and it will Growl. But the Bottom is very silky and deep, tight. Unique.. Its late .. I'm tired.. But i need to write more tomorrow .. Im blown away what a 410 can do.. It is a sledgehammer wrapped in silk padding..
Guys that i have not played with in a while heard it or the first time.. They said WOW, its punchy and tight... Sounded FULL everywhere!

Im sold/ Best gear purchase that i have made in many years/

They are TWO very different animals.. I am getting ready to travel today so i only have minutes. I can maybe get into more detail when i get home
But briefly the MG212 is more traditional sounding.. Similar to the Bergantino but the MG212 IMO, has more Girth while keeping the focus . And maybe slightly warmer by a pinch.....

The 410-3 is a Very Even playing field. Is it FLAT??? At first it was fooling my ears because it is sonnicly different and IMO better ( i know "Better" is SUBJECTIVE ) than cabs that i was used to.
I don't know.. But it takes EQ better than any 410 that i have ever played.
Miniscule amount of EQ changes are easily heard..
The 410-3 is also VERY Focused. Has intense PUNCH and clarity from Lower to upper mids . Don't worry about lack of LOWS with the 410-3, It has them . ( EDIT Maybe not as much as a fearful but it is NOT lacking lows IMO ) mids are SMOOTH and not brash and transition up to maybe 15k?? It takes OD pedals VERY well..

The HIGHS are not floating out there In outer space and separated from the rest of the bass signal which happens in some Tweetered type cabs . It all blends together in a compact PA type tone. I could only imagine a Pair of them...
Everything seems to be a single point source with the best DISPERSION i have heard from a 410...
This is in another sonic league and I would not be afraid to label it a SuperCab with a boutique pedigree but still the working mans build and usefulness. ..
I would feel safe saying that it can output as much as some 610 cbas.
