I almost wanted a pair of the 210 btu when i saw the 410-3 that was it. I was searching for a ONE CAB 4Ω option for a long time.
The 410-3 will get loud with a few waats but it can easily take the 800 watts from amps that i have used..
I just sold my 1st Generation Ampeg SVT2 non pro that i had for 29 years. It travelled to 5 continents when i was on tour with a pop artist with zero failure. I recapped it a few years ago and retubed it last year... But i played a gig with that SVT2 non-pro on this cab. 300 watts sounds GREAT thru it.
In fact the day i sold the SVT i demoed for the buyer thru the 410-3.. The guy was very impressed. He wants to loo into the array type cabs.. I felt that the 401-3 is what made the sale seamless. It allowed the amp to do what it does.

So, my long-awaited Dingwall NG-2 showed up over the weekend, and I took it too its first band practice last night. Let me just say - Magellan 800 + A pair of BA12-3s + Dingwall = MAGIC!

I can definitely vouch for that combo. I don't currently own a Magellan, but I have owned two in the past and will likely own another in the future. But Dingwall into two Genzler BA 12-3's = yummy awesome goodness, even if powered by a Monique 700.

That Jeff Genzler guy doesn't just build one or two great cabs, they all rock! It was an agonizing kind of fun going back and forth playing all the different cab configurations at the NAMM Show. Sure enough, if your primary goal is a one-cab 4-ohm solution, then the BA410-3 is the cab for you. And as I previously mentioned, some of our staff definitely sounded the best playing through the 410-3. But different players sounded better through different cabs, with some favoring two 210-3's, and some favoring the BA12-3's.
IME/IMHO, they are all great options, and it's just a matter of finding what works best for you, personally.

I very honestly like the concept of individual 12's. It has provided me great flexibility and ease of use and for me the best sounding gear I have ever owned. Having said that, I am more than a bit of GASing over the 410 array. One of my better bands is back up and running and they tend to book bigger (ala needing more bass gear) gigs.

You simply can't go wrong with any of the Genzler Array cabinets. I've had all the combinations except for the new 410 and currently have been using the 350 and 2 of the 10-2 arrays. I've played big churches and venues that hold upwards of 4-5000 people and it simply amazes me. I had all 3 sound engineers come up to me after our first soundcheck for a 3 day revival at the Forum in Hazard, Ky a little while back. They couldn't believe that that little stack was putting out what it was. Everyone that hears and sees my Genzler gear wants to know more about them.
I’m still only using 1 BA10-2 with my MG350. Doing an art fair and a wedding - both outdoor - this weekend with a bass/drums/guitar trio - guitar sings. That will be the test of the single cab.
Will you have PA support Steve? Can you tell us a bit more about the trio - electric or acoustic guitar, style of music, etc...
Electric guitar, acoustic drums. I’ve played with them and a keyboard in a brewery before with just this amp and was fine. No PA for this weekend. Jazz for the farmers market. Hymns and some appropriate pop tunes for the wedding.
This is a new group (the trio) from the other cover band. Going to do John Mayer type stuff when we gig.

I've played my DB with my MG800 and a single BA12-3 for about 20 gigs, indoors, outdoors, etc. with never a headroom issue. Granted, its been all hand percussion or no percussion at all (bluegrass). It's the percussion/drums that determine how much cab to bring for me.

Yes...I posted this before but here it is again. Last year we played in a rather large ballroom. I took my pair of Genzler BA12-3s with MG800. During sound check the sound guy asked me to unplug one of the BA12-3s. I did; had no problems hearing at all and this was with two 4x12 guitar players with drummer. That said I do like the pair of BA12-3s better and that is what I generally use and what I would generally suggest for this situation.
Rig for today. Farmers Market and a wedding. The MG350 Combo was amazing. Gain at noon and master at non or less. Bess rolled off. Amazing. Full and even sound and shook the ground, literally, when I stood by it on the golf course for the wedding. Always amazed but never surprised at how well Genzler stuff performs.

A month or so ago I had a gig where the back line was provided... an SVT with an 810. While I’m sure it moved more air than my little Genzler rigs, there was literally nothing about it that would have given me GAS. Indeed, had I had the choice, I would have used my MG 800 and BA12-3.
Ok...so my 12-3 SLT came in the mail yesterday...

Can wait..Wow.... so I played this morning with my new setup at a church I've never played at it was in a gymnasium. Right after the drummer couldn't believe how that amp spread the sound around the room. I told him it must be that dispersion factor that you guys have all talked about. Then the sound guy came up right after that and was the amazed at the sound. They normally cringe when a bass player brings in an amp cuz it sounds real boomy in that gym. Not genzler. Jeff you definitely nailed it. .. now I've experienced for myself and I'm a True Believer. Anybody reading this that is on the fence about picking up this equipment. It's the real deal I can't wait till next Sunday I'll be playing at a church that I played that before and I'll see what their reaction is as well.... didn't know exactly what settings to use so I just went everything flat and use the drive Channel. And it worked with pick and fingers
