I absolutely agree...Haven't found a situation where I needed to tweak the eq...just gain, drive and contour...amazing amount of goodness there. In a way, it reminds me of the timbre knob on the ThunderFunk.

Has anyone played through a BA10-2/BA10-2/BA12-3 stack (I'm thinking SLT on bottom - tighter low end)?
If so, using which amp(s)?
Also, how about a 3x BA10-2 stack?

Today was cabless with the best D.I. Box ever. (That just happens to have an 800 watt power amp inside.)

I guess all the Genzler users must be busy playing instead of posting on TalkBass! I have used the MG350/BA10-2 combo on top of the BA12-3SLT. The results to my ear are stellar. They compliment each other nicely and I can't detect any frequencies that are too strong or weak...just very balanced, clear and punchy. The MG350 has a lot of power for its rating. I have the MG800 as well, which I will use more when I pick up another BA112 cab (probably the straight version). I have not heard of any combination of BA cabs that did not work out very nicely.
I also have a BA10-2 cab in addition to the combo. Two BA10-2 cabs sound great together, but I haven't heard or tried three BA10-2s.

that's similar to the predicament I find myself in at the moment. Really like the 3 x 12-3 stack. But also crave a 410-3 as a one-cab solution. Currently selling my last non-Genzler cab and saving my schekels. One of the 12-3s might have to be sacrificed to get there.

Yes, agreed, although getting that third 110 closer to my ears could be helpful. I probably wouldn't do the 410 because of the weight (although the Genzler 410 is tempting). I believe that a pair of BA12-3s would take care of almost all of my needs, with the possibility of a third 112 if I had non-PA support outdoor gigs.

Except if all you had was the 410 then you're stuck taking it to a small gig that doesn't need that kind of over kill. The three cab set up is waaaaay more versatile. Got a small coffee house gig? Take one cab. Got a medium cub gig? Take two. Got a big outdoor gig? Take three cabs. Got a really really big pro gig? Show up with your axe and let the pro sound people take care of all the other stuff
I have yet to even get close to using up the available output of two 12-3s. I'm sure three would be better just because 3>2, but I have not ever wished I had one more because I ran out of volume.
right. I've only run with 3 for outdoor gigs. And could probably get by with 2. 2 is more than enough for any indoor gig I play.
Wow! Then you can try the 2x1x10 + 1x12 stack with the MG800.

I’ve been rocking the 10-2 stack/MG800 combo and it’s just killer. Even outdoors I have more than enough volume and punch. Actually had to turn down the Bass onstage the last time I used them.
Reminds me of high school. Especially their cream ale. Nothing like a Gennee cream ale hangover and the “gas so foul that you can hardly live the yourself” to go with it.

That cream ale is just evil. Nothing good can ever come from drinking that stuff.
Over the last month, I've been able to build a new gig-rig. Each piece came from a different source: Mr Genzler himself, as well as 2 fellow TB'rs. (3rdcurve and campbems, who were both awesome to deal with)
Unfortunately, I've been travelling quite a bit and haven't yet been able to shake them down.
That changes this weekend when I'll pair one of the 12-3's with the MG800 for rehearsal. That will change again next weekend for a large-room gig when I'll add in the 2nd 12-3.
I'm so looking forward to experiencing the bottom-end nirvana that has been described throughout this thread.
Question for those of you in the know.....With stacking 2 of the 12-3 slants, do I need to be concerned with vibration and the MG800 sliding off the back of the angled top?

Last night's outdoor gig. Shuttle 9.0 and two 12-3's. Running through the PA so just need enough for stage volume. Which is still pretty high with a loud drummer and right next to the guitar player.
