Genzler Amplification Club

No Genzler today. Outdoor DI/IEM stage today. Opening for Love and Theft. On the rise country duo.
Now, if Jeff had a DI pedal maybe I wouldn’t need my OCSD...

Over the last month, I've been able to build a new gig-rig. Each piece came from a different source: Mr Genzler himself, as well as 2 fellow TB'rs. (3rdcurve and campbems, who were both awesome to deal with)
Unfortunately, I've been travelling quite a bit and haven't yet been able to shake them down.
That changes this weekend when I'll pair one of the 12-3's with the MG800 for rehearsal. That will change again next weekend for a large-room gig when I'll add in the 2nd 12-3.
I'm so looking forward to experiencing the bottom-end nirvana that has been described throughout this thread.
Question for those of you in the know.....With stacking 2 of the 12-3 slants, do I need to be concerned with vibration and the MG800 sliding off the back of the angled top?View attachment 3120510
Which stand are you using in this pic?

PRetty Vanilla. Use the clean channel, but I could start playing with drive channel. Here’s my settings, playing an active jazz with Nordstrand jazz blades in it, which is a pretty hot signal already.
I goose the treble and mids on the bass for some songs like a Immigrant Song and Whole Lotta Love. Otherwise, I like a pretty flat tone myself. No effects.

I had a conversation with our new sound guy and he wants to revamp our musician’s pit at church. One of the things he wants to do is purchase equipment for me to use instead of me bringing in my stuff. Initially, he asked if wanted a 4 or 6 speaker Line6. I politely asked for a 410-3 Array, or at least a 12-3 Array, since they are going to mic the cabinet.
I’m curious to learn which cabinet he will get.

That is worrisome as Line 6 has not made amps or cabs for bass for a few years.[/QUOTE

Well he didn't actually say it was going to be new equipment he was purchasing, and I'm sure with his connections he knows plenty of sound companies with used backline stuff.

Used or new, I would just like for it to be as good as what I have or better(?).

Which stand are you using and how is it mounted ? Do you have a picture from the back side ?

Just about to ask the same thing.

It’s this. Works pretty well. I have to position the cabs a little off center so the input jacks on the back of the speaker cabs can be accessed.
