The first thing he’ll do is tell you to stop calling them tweeters ;)

I am no expert (as already proven on this page) but if worst comes to worst (as long as it’s not the woofer), you could unplug the array to make it through the show Friday. I don’t think it affects the cab’s impedence.

The two cabs are amazing together but our current playing circuit there really is not a room big enough for their big sound.

Is the BA 410-3 an option for more punch, or is that cab too big?

Sorry to hear of this issue ---- and please stop calling them tweeters;). Seriously, we'll get this taken care of ASAP. I'm sending you a PM so we can do a little trouble shooting and get you up and running.
As mentioned in a pinch, if you're sure it is one of the 3" drivers, you could just disconnect this entire array and get you through your next gig. Just unplug the front baffle input jack for the array and tape it against the array so it does not drop into the 12" woofer.

Sending PM now.

Yes I have discussed with Jeff on his recommendation and I've gigged tested that config several times and found myself preferring the Reg on bottom raised up on a crate then the SLT. Seems to work better for me. Again, when the room is large enough to accommodate. When the room is smallish or weird layout I have struggled with some boominess and the "pillowy" at times. BTW Jeff has certainly chimed in and helped me with those situations.

Thanks Jeff - I’ve sent you a PM. I will try to confirm whether it is one of the, er, tiny woofers, and if I can just unplug the array that should definitely get me through the show.

When it happened at jam, obviously I was bummed, but I was also strangely calm knowing that @Jeff Genzler would take care of me. It's a lovely way to feel about a product like this.

Yes this is very comforting, also being that it is a product of Mr. Genzler's can give you a cocky (yet well earned) attitude that when something goes wrong it is not my gear.

Last week a bit after setup the band smelled burning, and since I was the only one with an amp (used as just a DI) and it was coming from my side they thought it was my amp. I said without bothering to check, "It is not my amp, Genzlers do not let out their smoke."

Drummer put his hands on my amp and says, "Amp is cold."
I said, "Yup."

It was the buildings heater. They just turned it on and we were near the vent.

It is nice to know Genzler gear just works, yet when needed He is there to help out. :thumbsup:

I was seriously mad @Jeff Genzler when he announced the 410 ( well at least for .05 of a second) as I had sworn off slugging a 410 around. I really enjoy the modular set up and light weight cabs.

If I ever go to a bigger band with big gigs then I would go to the 410 in a heart beat.

Don’t count out 3 12-3’s. I want a 410-3/210-3 stack because I’m sure it’s awesome, but that 3rd cab is the business. And it’s a lot closer to ear level.

Adding a 210-3 to my 410-3 is on my list of things to do. I hafta push the timeline back a bit though, I accidentally bought two new basses this week...:whistle::facepalm::rollno:

So guilty of the same thing! When I first got my MG 350 combo and BA 10-2, I detected what sounded like the speakers farting out...Jeff was so incredibly patient going through various scenarios. What I was experiencing made no sense to me, but eventually we narrowed it down. So glad to have Genzler gear! Jeff's accessibility--even for a duffer like me--speaks volumes for his dedication to ALL of his customers.

I will post my impressions of this amazing stack soon.
