Interesting to try and see if you can make a half circle like an arch. Make sure you take pics when you do that. Actually Jeff, take a memo, that would be a great marketing picture to emphasize the slant cabinet as it’s hard to see the slant in a pic when it’s just standing alone. That’s my 2nd great idea for Jeff so far. ;)

I was out on a one off for a very talented singer and her set list was a lot of country. Not my usual genre. I played with my PJ Sadowsky and my two BA12-3 cabs and that worked really well.
There is a 210 over at my local shop that is calling me..... That might be the combo for me until I eventually pull the trigger on a 410 (just saying)

I once stacked my BA12-3 on my BA410-3 and cranked the volume on my 800 to about 2:00 and it was too loud, for me, to stand in front of. I’m waiting for an outside gig with no FOH to run this rig just to see what kind of responses I get!
I can’t even imagine what stacked 410-3’s would sound like. Maybe something close to being outside in a thunderstorm.

That answer would be 4. Stacking 3 is very stable on solid flooring. Going to 4 would take the arc just too far backwards. Just like in yoga when doing an extended back-bend. Just falls right over.....well I do anyway.

And by the way, thanks everybody and especially @Jeff Genzler for your advice regarding my cab issue.

I was able to confirm it is one of the array drivers having an issue, and I had the cabinet jamming again tonight with the array temporarily unplugged.

It still sounds awesome just with the 12, but Jeff is taking good care of me, as we all knew he would.

Definitely appreciate how Jeff not only chimes in from time to time but he is also VERY responsive to emails. Jeff is first class and top notch!

After all my chiming here the last few days I decided to change things up for band practice last night. I took my original regular 12-3 and played with turned on its side. I put the cover folded up under the front to angle up the cab just slightly. It was a cool little experiment and I really liked the tone. I was playing pretty quietly and but still cut through nicely.

Jeff is certainly giving us some great options, and people with different preferences will definitely find something to trip their trigger in his lineup. Personally, though, the tripple BA12-3 stack remains my favorite (with one or two SLT's thrown in), but again, YMMV.

That seems to be the new rage, after everyone starts doing this the next thing will be we are all lying down on our sides while playing :)

@RNG1 --- Memo received ---That is a good point and we will get that done. Actually I thought we had a pic with 3 SLT's but this is what we do show on the website -- (from the floor up) SLT/STR/SLT.

Sorry, its my strange humour, I was agreeing with you all the way. I've had people look at my bass and think I have a Fender knock off. Then they hear and become believers.

Steve C, Roscoe's are awesome as well.

Well, sure, if you just set 'em on top of each other. Ya gotta think bigger! I bet if you connected 'em together and hung them like a PA array, but just off the stage, you could make a big arc of them, like say, a dozen of 'em, and reach the second balcony, plus eliminate any unwanted resonances from the stage at the same time. Kind of a modern day Grateful Dead Wall of sound. Who really wants FOH support anyway?
