Me caught in the act of asking Santa for more gigs where I can use my Genzler gear (non-IEM).

Not pictured: Modded to heck and back Lakland Skyline Scheff, MG800 and a 10-2.

Hello, have recently purchased a used 1x10 combo ($720) and a 1x12 straight (new $629 shipped from reverb). question I have is that in many photos I see a round shape above and to the right of the 12" speaker, what is that? I would guess a tweeter but I see no mention of it anywhere.

Another question, will the 1x12 come with a speakon cable?

The round shape is the hole for the cable to connect the array to the crossover. As for the speakon cable, they don’t come with them stock, so unless the dealer included one... the genzler stuff has combo jacks though, so it’ll fit a 1/4” plug in the center on the speakon jack, fyi.

As @Fred312b said, you can use a 1/4 speaker cable but the speakon is a much better design. Buy one, and in the rare case that the seller threw in one with the 12-3, you'll have an extra and redundancy is always a good thing when it comes to gear.

That is an amazing price on the BA12-3. You're going to love this gear. I also have a 10-2 cab plus a 12-3. For my usage, I really don't need both at a time but they marry very nicely.
