Genzler Amplification Club

I don't think it really matters if you had the master VOL turned up or not. It has no effect on the DI .. But just for fun, I would run it at ZERO.

Reading through the thread there are a couple if comments about using a Magellan as a DI. I imagine then that it's run with the master at "0"?

Thank you.

As far as this being a worry for tube amps I ran a Hartke 7000 for years, it having a pair of solid state power amps, and it's documentation said to beware pushing either side of the head into nothing. Have carried that bit of knowledge with me ever since.

Took the theme of the weekend and did some serious contemplation regarding being thankful for my blessings.
Thankful God gave me life, a beautiful wife, two healthy children, and daily gives me more and more reasons to believe
Thankful for friends far and near
Thankful God gave me some talent and love of music
Thankful for this place (TB) and this thread for giving me lots of GAS and motivation
I'll try to be more content with what I have versus what I want.
I'll try.

It's tough. I played a bass this weekend that was pretty cheap compared to what I usually play and it was difficult not to buy it. I don't NEED it. It would be used, and is justifiable, but I don't NEED it.
Trying really hard to stay focused on getting debt paid off. I'm only a few months away.
Very glad that, at this point, I have all I NEED to play virtually any gig I can imagine in the predictable future.

Roscoe Century 5
Genzler MG350 Combo
DI/IEM board (TU-2, Rolls, OCSD) and Westone UM Pro 30 IEM's.
Cheap little synth (Korg) for when I need to cover synth bass parts

Looking at TB doesn't help, but I will always look. I have matured enough to be able to control my impulses and get over the thrill of a new bass, the deal, the tracking, etc.

What a great set up! You got all you need!

Did that help?

Rinse and repeat if not. I have to keep doing the same for myself.

It grew! Added the straight 12-3 for a little more win!
Thanks Mr Genzler for creating gear I'm proud to play and own :)!
