Genzler Amplification Club

OK, here's a couple of shots of my MG350 combo on top of my BA12-3SLT. This is in a club that holds 150-200 folks. The stage is raised and hollow, made of wood, and there was light PA support but the Genzler rig carried the stage and the dance floor with ease, and could have easily carried the whole venue. I didn't bring my isolation pad, but the rig was not boomy at all, considering the hollow stage. I played my active Fender American Deluxe Jazz with fresh flats...no boost or cut on the active electronics and volume was at about 75%.

A couple of comments about this rig: It's very punchy and well balanced, and has strong controlled lows and clear smooth mids and highs. I don't miss a tweeter at all. The BA10-2 and BA12-3 blend seamlessly. The MG350 performs completely beyond it's power rating. The master and input were both at about 11 o'clock and the EQ was flat across the board with no contour needed. The rig was nowhere near it's max...just awesome.

If anyone has any doubts about this combination, I have to add my voice to those that report how stellar the Genzler gear performs.

Here's a good pic of Scott Andres, Jeff Genzler, and legendary TB'er Maurilio (Nordstrand, Mina Bass Design, Mo's Shop) having a good time on the first day of NAMM. Jeff and Scott are a wealth of knowledge and are really nice people. Oskar Cartaya was playing the MG800 and BA410-3 on top of a BA210-3 SLT, and it was really nice. I was standing off to the side and the sound was smooth and full, yet responsive with punch. Even with the NAMM background noise, the sound was absolutely lovely. When walking around NAMM, Genzler amps and cabs were seen being played at many other booths, also. What a great day.

Indeed the 410 on top of the 210SLT is a "terrifying" combo! So much punch, power and depth!!!

Mitch playing the Mg800 and new BA210-3 SLT at the Alleva Coppolo booth.. Cab projects very well. Its Punchy as all heck..
Our friend Rick brought his Tone Craft Preamp using the MG800 as power. .That Too sounded great..

Yeah! The local Mom and Pop treats me well. They called me as soon as it came in on trade. It's in great shape except the dude put stickers on the head. Time for some Goo Gone.

A bit more elegant than the "2x4 under the front edge" method, or the deluxe, "BLACK 2x4 under the front edge," method.

I was thinking of trying some acoustic foam I have. I'll get something or flip the top cab on it's side and put that line array to use at 90°.

Thanks for the "live fire" comments. Great to hear. Just getting my feet underneath me from NAMM but will say that player after player using the gear live had similar comments. And several also enjoy the BA10-2 and BA12-3 together. Who would of thunk it:thumbsup:. Glad it is also working out for you as well.
