Been thinking about adding two 210-3SLT's. Love the sound and flexibility of using two 2 12-3'2 but starting Gas'ing when Jeff launched the 410. My though is the 410 is going to be way too much most times so how about splitting them into a pair of 210's?
I had a stack of the Genzler 210-3 arrays and run 2 of them and my goodness the power they had. However for my needs they was just simply more than I needed. I play everywhere that has good to great PA support and the 350 stacks I know use will blow your mind how good they are. It shouldn’t be real that they produce what they do.
My more affordable (and probably more practical) back up plan is to add a single 10-2. The folks that mixed them with the 12-3 have been having great results. Most likely the better plan for me so I can keep more $$$ for my bass GAS. But I can always dream of an unlimited budget.....
Ditto on the more Genzler cab GAS. I did take my MG800 as a backup on a gig last night. I didn't need it, but I certainly should have used it to help get me out of the darker/warmer spectrum of the MB800 Fusion I chose to use with the Greenboy cabs.

The 410-3 is a beast for a small-ish 410......
A 210-3 and 210-3SLT may be more modular and easy to move , yet expandable for when you need that extra uuooomph....

I think I would prefer the tighter low end of a pair of the BA12-3SLT.
I'd also love to have a 350 Combo + an MG112T.
The sensitivities match up better than the BA10-2 & BA12-3. Plus you can stand the MG112T on its side & get the BA10-2 closer to your ear level. Probably run the MG112T tweeter all the way down.

Is the preamp section of the MG800 worth selling as a stand-alone preamp/DI if Genzler made one?
The DI on the MG800 is pretty well second-to-none as far as I have seen. It really sounds fantastic.
We’ve been laying down live scratch tracks for our vocalist to write over, and I’ve been using the DI on the back on my MG800. It sounds awesome.
That is how I mostly run my MG800. On the floor by the drums sent Post with Drive around 11:00 all else flat.
Best DI Box that happens to have an 800 watt amp in it if needed. Though a smaller box to carry in the gigbag would be nice.
I love the DI out I’m my Genzler heads but would buy a DI Preamp pedal version in a second if Jeff would make it.
Hear, hear on the outboard DI/preamp. I picked up a used Aguilar from The Bass Shop Seattle that I use for practice and some recording. But I’d ditch it in a NY (Brooklyn?) second if Jeff put one out. It would be so nice to have my well known and practiced MG800 controls in a pedal!
