I'd guess Jeff and others at Genzler pass over the 800+ watt/cab size/degree of tilt banter, but come back for the pictures of Scotch!

Back in the day we didn't need big power considering the PA systems like a Shure Vocal Master...

If they make a 1000 watt cab that is likely conservatively rated like the rest and offer a head that doesn't take advantage of said rating does it stand to reason that an MG1200 is on the roadmap?
As well, with competitors doing it might that imply that there's a need to "keep up", per the earlier "arms race" comment? Or does Genzler not feel the pressure in that regard?

We listen alot actually. Big day at NAMM so Im a little fried bit the talk about drinks sounds good about now.

Genzler booth looks sharp. Has the full line up of gear. I will post a photo tomorrow. Jeff was kind to lend the new BA210-3 SLT cab to the Alleva Coppolo bass booth. Folks are digging on it too. MG800 amp. Suprisingly punchy and loud for its size. NAMM dB hall monitors gave us the look once today.
Spent some time today at the wonderful Genzler Amplification booth. Here's a good pic of Scott Andres, Jeff Genzler, and legendary TB'er Maurilio (Nordstrand, Mina Bass Design, Mo's Shop) having a good time on the first day of NAMM. Jeff and Scott are a wealth of knowledge and are really nice people. Oskar Cartaya was playing the MG800 and BA410-3 on top of a BA210-3 SLT, and it was really nice. I was standing off to the side and the sound was smooth and full, yet responsive with punch. Even with the NAMM background noise, the sound was absolutely lovely. When walking around NAMM, Genzler amps and cabs were seen being played at many other booths, also. What a great day.

Pretty excited. My Mom and Pop store got two 12-3s and a Magellan 800 in on consignment and they are holding them until I can get to town Wednesday. Getting the rig for less than $2000. They sent pictures and also checked it out. I trust them.

2019 NAMM show...I was able to meet up with jeff .. But did not get back to the Genzler booth.
So much to do / plus I was working another bass booth.. And I like to be prompt and not have people looking for me. Ha
The amp and cab that Jeff lent to Alleva Coppolo booth was amazing. MANY compliments from a wide spectrum of players.. Rock guys, Funk guys, RnB, HiFi lovers..
The Genzler MG800 and the new BA 210-3SLT... I was amazed at how well it did..
I Left after Saturday to head home so I missed the closing day.. I don't feel i missed anything.. except some pro audio stuff. But the Show has Expanded to a newly built hall which was all the way at the other end. I think i did enough walking. whewww.
One player brought his TONE CRAFT 363 Preamp/ DI to try with the alleva bass and the Genzler cab. Sounded amazing..
Ill post some photos once i get settled in... Maybe tomorrow
