Schweeeeet! That there is some nice sippin whiskey. I don't want to derail the Genzler content
any more so I'll just go have a drink.
Need it after dealing with the 24+ inches of snow so far today and still coming down.

I finally figured out how to make this amp sound good to me.
EQ pretty flat except the treble is at 8:00, no overdrive channel, and the contour (with the blue light at about 1:00.
My mistake was not running the contour this high, and then trying to use EQ to get "there".
Plenty of punch and super quiet.
Ironically it sounds alot like my MBF800 and not that much at all like my old GK Shuttle 9.2.

Other than running the scoop contour at too high of a level, I haven’t found any sounds out of the MG800 I don’t like.

I'm almost tempted to get another MG800 as a backup and before the price goes up!

I sort of wonder if we might see a super (bigger than the 800) amp in the future?

I have only ever needed two BA12-3 (with rhe 800). Though I do run three at festivals, it is still overkill.

I love my Genzler gear and its been 100%reliable for a couple years now. Im currently playing thee gigs a month.

yeah... I can't imagine what an amp more powerful than that would be needed for or what it would do to the player's ears...
Add 2.67 ohms - 3 8 ohm or an 8 ohm and a 4 ohm - of fairly efficient cabs to the 800 and if you need more than that... I don't know what to say

I can agree that the 800 is powerful, but does it satisfy the power hungry bassists? What about a MG1000 or MG1200!!! The BA410-3 is rated at 1000 watts. Why not a Genzler that makes it bounce off the floor?
And I say this with no useful electrical experience with bass amp/speaker building!!
