Genzler Amplification Club

I've been searching for an outdoor posting without much luck.
Has anyone used the 350 combo with extension BA10-2 outdoors? I have a gig coming next month and have recently picked up the extra BA10-2, but I'm wondering if I'll need a third cab, or possibly get a Magellan 112T paired with one BA10-2.

I done quite a few shows with two 10-2’s. BUT, there was always FOH sound and I just had to hear myself.

Thanks.

No FOH for this one. It is a contained area, but sill outdoors. Several tables, grass area, some food trucks, playground area... Last year my MarkBass 500 watt, 2x10 and 1x12 cabs were enough. So I may be OK. Just a little concerned not having used this mini-stack before.

I contacted them and was told they was sold out and it would be a couple weeks. I really wanted the Noble above anything but have always been to tight to turn loose that much green lol.

Noble is sweet.

In all seriousness, it’ll sound great through the Genzler rig. Though I’d run it into the Input. Run the DI out of the Noble to the FOH and EQ your rig to taste.

If this will help, I have a spacious outside house party gig next Saturday
that I’m planning on using my 350 Combo stacked on my BA12-3 with drums, keys and vocalist. We’ll be doing songs from Bruno Mars to Patti LaBelle to jazz instrumentals.
I can give an update as to how this rig did next Sunday.

I have used my combo alone for a few gigs. I got by fine. A reception at a convention center ballroom. Guitar, piano, drums and myself. A jazz gig outside with guitar, drums, vines and myself. A brew pub with guitar, keys and drums. None of these gigs were super loud, but the drummer played and there was no shortage of sound.

Now, it didn’t thump your chest or anything, but I did use a 5 string, and I was heard. I had my gain at about 1 o’clock and my master at about Noon.

If I had more gigs like this I would probably get a 2nd cab just to have a little more surface area and headroom, but for the 6-8 gigs a year I do like this, so far I’m fine.

Thanks all for the feedback. Feeling like I was worried about nothing and the 350 mini stack should be fine for my outdoor gig. Nightman; Do report in on the house party please. Always good to hear about how things went with my new equipment

I’ve owned a stack of Genzler 800 with 3 of the 12-3 arrays and 2 of the 210-3 arrays. I little over a year ago I purchased my first 350 and 2 of the 10-2 arrays. It blowed my mind what that light weight stack done so much that I sold my other Genzler gear and purchased another 350 with 2 more of the 10-2 arrays to keep at church and 1 for travel. Ive played 100’s of shows as big as 4-5000 seat arenas and outdoor gigs with FOH support and it easily does anything no matter the size with a little PA help. Every place and Sound engineer has raved about this little rig. It is simply that good.

Spec Check plz....
Dimensions of screws for holding 350 combo bracket to 10-2 cab.
Thnx!

Related to this topic, if I were to make a wish for a new Genzler product, it would be for some type of quick release head bracket so the bracket could be easily removed from the BA10 cabinet in those situations where you wanted to use the speaker without the head attached. It would also be neat if a similar type of bracket could be used with a BA12 or other Genzler cabinets. Call it a “Quick Combo” or something like that. Just wishing out loud here.
