How am I supposed to be hooking up three 12/3 arrays to my Magellan 800?

I will need three soon and just want to make sure I'm not going to smoke anything.

Switch your Impedance Selector Switch to 2.67 Ohms, then plug them in as usual and enjoy.

When using one or two cabs switch it back to the 8/4 Ohms setting.

The back of the cab has two jacks. They are wired the same so pick one to go from the Amp to the Cab, then go from Cab to Cab on your third.

You can also just go one output from the Amp to Cab, to Cab, to Cab.

Hey Guys, some real cool feedback about the BA410-3 here from my FOH Engineer at my most recent gig.
We split my signal in 2 so we can separate lows and highs. The board was placed at the back of the room 17 rows from my side of the stage. My amp was 20’ in back of me. See pics below.

He said the the Mids & Highs from the Array was projecting all the way back to him that he took my High signal and panned it to the right to even out the tone. This was an 800 seat old theater and we used IEM so my stage volume was not loud. The dispersion of BA410-3 puts out that much tone that it could be heard throughout the venue. Amazing! This is truly the best 410 cab on the market!

I really need to make my weekend fling with Bergantino just a fling. My MG350 is an amazing little amp. The smart thing for me to do would be to just get another BA10-2 to put under my combo and call it good. A little more low end, a little more air movement, a little more head room. Still very portable. 1/5 the cost of completely redoing my rig. I just need to step back from this weekend. My situation as so different from all of theirs. 90% of my playing is done via DI/IEM. I know a 300 watt, 210 stack won't kick you in the chest, but it'll sound great and still be portable.

Yeah the 12-3's leave nothing to be desired...
I looked at the the Bergs, and Mesa Subway stuff before landing here and honestly - you can't go wrong with any of them. All top quality gear.

The array sound and the contour ease of use slid me over to Genzler.

Another confession - playing through a Berg HT322 is like dreaming in color after black and white. But try humping 98 lbs around to those DI/IEM gigs.

I regularly mix the BA10 with the BA12, driven by the MG350 head. I’ve written about it before, but I just did another outdoor gig last weekend with this setup, and I’m just as enamoured with it now as I was originally.

I heard the 10 is very light. Love my 2 12"s and suspect a 10 on top might work really really nicely. I'm am not the young buck I used to be but am able to handle the 12s nicely even down into a basement bar gig.

As much as the second 10T added to my Shuttle 3.0-10T, to which I know you can relate, the second BA10-2 added to the combo is even more impressive, IMHO.

I think if a bit more low end heft is what you're lacking then the 12-3 makes the most sense to me. You just bring it when you need it. I also went with 12-3 x2 stack with the 800 but I like my output headroom

I appreciate the suggestions for the BA12-3 as a 2nd cab to take when needed. I did have one and found it just a but awkward to carry. I suppose the new design with the handle on top takes care of that.
Still, I think a 2nd 10 is the way for me. I like 10's. I had the Shuttle stack and loved it. I only switched because Jeff told me that some of what I was hearing that I didn't love in my Shuttle cabs would be different in the BA cabs. He said that if I were using the Shuttle 10's that the BA 10's would give me what I want and keep the portability factor that I loved about my Shuttle rig. He was right. Even with just the one cab the sound is amazing. I think with 2 I'll get myself really close to what I want. It won't have quite the "heft" of some larger rigs, but if I've been basically happy with the combo (until the recent "day of the giant rigs" incident) at past gigs, I'm pretty sure getting a additional cab will go a long way to getting me there while staying very portable. I also like that with the 2 cabs stacked - both with the built in slant - the top cab will be pretty much pointing up at me so I will be able to hear it a little better than my combo on the floor or a chair or whatever.

Initially, I went MG800 and BA12-3. It ended up being more than I wanted/needed to carry around. Jeff initially said to get the combo and extra cab and I'd be VERY happy. He hasn't lead me astray yet. I should have listened to him initially. Story of my life. Always taking the long way around to get to the destination.
