Still rockin' a GenzBenz ShuttleMAX 6.0 with a couple LDS cabs as my main rig, and a Shuttle 3.0 with an Eden 1x12 for small venues. These are great amps that have held up for years now!
Very happy with my rig too. But would have to consider a BA208-3 if it were available.
A vertical BA210-3 would be very tempting...
I talked to Jeff about a vertical 210, like a BA10-2 x2 in a single box but it didn't sound like that was going to happen. He talked me into a "tall" 12 which I really like. I'm very curious what he has up his sleeve.
That would be my dream cab or maybe a BA 210-2, and at 4 ohms to get full power all in one box. Then stack a single BA10-2 on top of that for 2.67 ohms. Totally flexible mini-rig of doom action right there.

The Magellan is specified with 800 Watts @ 4Ohms. I am one of these old stubborn farts and happy still using the old Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.2 and ShuttleMax 9.2 with 900Watts @ 4Ohms. Seriously I can't imagine any live/rehearsal situation, where these 900 watts might not be sufficient. In case I'd have to power more than that I'd rather add another top powering another cabinet tower. Well, ymmv.
I'd be much more thrilled in case Jeff issues a Genzler Preamp with IEM monitoring capabilities. Let's wait and see ...
Well, considering the Bergantino Forte HP(1200w)seems to be the "Amp Du Jour" and a couple of class-D manufacturers are putting out big power class-D heads, a 1200w Magellan doesn't seem that far fetched. The 1.2k watt power module is readily available and fits in almost anything...
Of course, there is never such thing as "too much power" for a bass amp . 1200W is better than 900W, but the loudness provides only a marginal increase you probably might not even notice. I am much more curious which new ideas Jeff has for his great preamps. I also play AER and Glockenklang amps and Jeffs Genz-Benz and Genzler amps are in the same league. I hope for a successor of the ShuttleMax in his Genzler/Magellan product line up.

I don't really think it has anything to do with volume. You can overpower most other band members with 600w and good cabs. More watts is usually about clean headroom.
I totally agree with you on the wishlist. I'd really LOVE to see a Magellan 1200 with a Shuttlemax-type tube preamp section/solid state preamp section! I do still miss my Shuttlemax 12.0.
Not gonna kid you guys, I absolutely love my Genzler cabs, but my next purchase will likely be a Bergantino Forte HP, UNLESS Jeff drops that Magellan 1200 with the tube preamp, then all bets are off...
I think you will find the magellan can get anything you want.
It certainly does not lack mids... and the bottom is completely controlled including a built in HPF - have you tried turning any of the knobs?
