Let’s see, a new product announced on 1/15? How about a 1-15 cabinet? That seems to be lacking from the current Genzler lineup.

Very happy with my rig too. But would have to consider a BA208-3 if it were available.Ok, I’m curious, but Jeff can’t keep coming up with stuff. I’m happy with my current rig.
A vertical BA210-3 would be very tempting...
That would be my dream cab or maybe a BA 210-2, and at 4 ohms to get full power all in one box. Then stack a single BA10-2 on top of that for 2.67 ohms. Totally flexible mini-rig of doom action right there.A vertical BA210-3 would be very tempting...
I'm personally pretty excited! We've spoken about the new action, but I won't have played it until that Wednesday, so it'll be new for all of usOn Wednesday, Jan. 15th at 4pm PT, 7pm ET join fellow Genzler Artist Sean Fairchild on Facebook Live with New Product Announcement & Demo from Genzler at NAMM. The Magellan is specified with 800 Watts @ 4Ohms. I am one of these old stubborn farts and happy still using the old Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.2 and ShuttleMax 9.2 with 900Watts @ 4Ohms. Seriously I can't imagine any live/rehearsal situation, where these 900 watts might not be sufficient. In case I'd have to power more than that I'd rather add another top powering another cabinet tower. Well, ymmv. Not that it is needed but perhaps a higher powered Magellan?

I'd be much more thrilled in case Jeff issues a Genzler Preamp with IEM monitoring capabilities. Let's wait and see ...
Of course, there is never such thing as "too much power" for a bass amp. 1200W is better than 900W, but the loudness provides only a marginal increase you probably might not even notice. I am much more curious which new ideas Jeff has for his great preamps. I also play AER and Glockenklang amps and Jeffs Genz-Benz and Genzler amps are in the same league. I hope for a successor of the ShuttleMax in his Genzler/Magellan product line up.
I think you will find the magellan can get anything you want.A "Genzliner" with an all tube preamp with more mids and a more controllable and less wide bottom end would be nice.
