What is the tone difference between the 112T and 12T-V cabs?
The 112T seems to go a little lower.
How can the 12T-V cab be 6 lbs. lighter?
The vertical design appeals to me.

@Type-55, thanks for asking. As for the LF response, the new MG-12T-V cab is ported in such a way that we were able to get nearly the same bottom end in this smaller cab than the older MG112T. One reason is we found a way to have better venting with the smaller cab. There is a 3rd triangle vent under the grille that you cannot see. And with the Vertical geometry the new cab seems to have more throat and "bite", in a good way.
As for the lighter cab, it is smaller and made from a different lightweight plywood, strong, with good density.

Fyi I asked Jeff this question last year regarding my MG350. His response:

"Around Noon it is approx. 800 - 1K. The design of the control is that it is more incremental on the left side of the control."

I don't know if the MG800 is the same, so he will hopefully jump in and answer your question.

@Dontleavedayjob, yes jibass is correct in the freq range he shares with you. The EQ network is the same for both amps, MG 350 and MG 800. AND great photo of your new rig!!

That looks to be the STRAIGHT version of the BA12-3 cab. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve experienced what the 12-3 sounds like with a 410-3 being pushed with the MG800. I can’t even imagine a 15-3 with the 410-3!!! Tower of Power!!!!

I really dig your rig! My favorite rig ever was a 210 on a 115, but I bet with those arrays take it to a whole new level of awesome.

Does the 210+115 stack have equal output to 115+115? Curious is the only difference is tone and presence, or if there is a capability difference as well.
