I think that will be the case for any of the setups unless you let the feet get slippery like with lots of dust or something.

In a full volume situation, my Mesa works its way to the back of the cab. I’ll be looking for a solution.

yeah - it’s not a function of the cab though they are thoroughly braced. More to do with the rubber used in the genzler Magellan. It is a softer material than many amp makers use...

mayve that’s your solution - just replace the feet with something gummier ...

No, the cabs are solid. I think one of the forum users sell fancy amp feet/pads. Sorbothane......or something, might give that a go.

Flat (no pre shape filtering), for the purist who only wants to hear his instrument without any additional coloring from EQ.
Slap tones, from classic to modern. This is Contour A, range 9:00 and above.
Traditional pre shape curves (found to one degree or another in many of the popular preamps and amps over the last 50 years). This is Contour A, range 1:00 and below.
Vintage tones, as made popular by the amp and cabinet designs originally produced in the ‘60s and ‘70s. This is the beauty of Contour B.

The HPF is preset at just under 30 Hz. It offers excellent subsonic protection and helps deliver the deep, tight, low frequencies of the Magellan 800.

Can you speak to your experience about how the MG-800 sits on top of the slant of these 2 cabs together. I've had this question asked several times and you seem to have personal experience on how secure it is on top.
I know other amps might be different but maybe you can share your thoughts.

I did a short video using 2 Bass Array SLT cabs showing with even extreme movement, the Magellan 800 never moves. I have played many live shows with various Bass Array cabs and the SLT cabs with great results. I never have to worry about the amp slipping. It sits securely even when using 2 SLT cabs. Such as the BA210-3 and BA15-3 SLTs used in the video!!

Yup! I stack 2 SLT’s and my M800 doesn’t walk at all!

The more I play my 4X10 the more I love the transition between the 10’s and the 3’s. Can do the glassy snap thing if you boost the highs but with my MG 800 set flat has such a full and robust sound. Cuts through so good live! For the handful of gigs I’ve got to use it on (dang COVID-19) it has sounded great just set flat/no contour. On a couple of our songs I switch over to the drive channel and it gives the tone a nice bit of edge that works out great. The 4X10 is probably the most balanced cab I have played through. YMMV.....
