Maybe I’ll hang tight for a month and just enjoy the Streamliner while everyone here talks about the Bass Arrays, Magellans, and such. :thumbsup:

My BA10-2 is scheduled to be delivered on Friday so I'll be able to compare it to the MG12T-V that I already have. The initial comparisons will be at low-level at-home volumes since my next rehearsal won't happen until later next week. I doubt that my impressions will be much different from others here in the Genzler club, but it will be nice to compare side-by-side with my own ears. The great thing is that it's a win-win; I get to choose between two great options (or maybe keep both although I don't anticipate using them together).

And I'm aware of one of the golden rules of TalkBass...pics or it didn't happen!

It'll be fun to see what you do. I started with the BA10-2 and really loved it. So much sound and low end for a little combo. That said, I wanted a little bit more for outdoor gigs and was debating a 2nd BA10-2 for a mini stack (like I did with my old Genz Benz 110 cabs and Shuttle head) but Jeff said to wait as he might have something I would be interested in coming out soon. That, of course, was the MG112T-V. He was kind enough to send me one to try out. Both cabs are excellent. I found that I liked the 12 a little more, and I think it's actually easier to move than the smaller cab. I kept them both for a while but found I was favoring the 12 so I sold the 10. I tried them together but it didn't do anything for me.

Either way, you'll have a great cab/combo and you can't go wrong.

I anticipate that I'll like the tone of the BA10-2 just a bit better...clean, clear, smooth, neutral, it puts out what you put in. On the other hand, in my book the MG12T-V wins in the sound per pound and form factor categories. For medium-sized gigs with no FOH support, a quick look at the specs tells me that two MG12T-Vs would be roughly equivalent to three BA10-2s. So there's that.

OK, back to waiting for the cab to arrive...

Thanks for the statement of support. These latest acquisitions are what the companies founders believe is best for their companies and people. They are great brands and will continue to be such. I can also say "been there, done that". These types of things are a new path and new journey, new relationships and a new way forward based upon past successes.
I think we all wish them the very best success.

I am almost finished with the process of converting to 100% Genzler. I also hope that Genzler remains with Jeff, although I know we all have to retire some time!

I've been playing Jeff's stuff for a long time. I can't quite remember what year I started. I want to say around 2010 or so maybe. Maybe before that. The little Shuttle 3.0 - 10T combo got me hooked. So much sound and low end from a tiny combo amp. I had a Neo-Pak, some Shuttles, a GBE, all kinds of stuff. Cabs, too. Now I play Genzler. It's just great stuff, nothing super fancy, practical features, affordable, durable and sounds and looks awesome. Customer service (the little you really need it) is beyond compare. I received a call from Jeff on a Saturday morning to help with a noise issue. That's service.

Another long time Genz Benz/Genzler guy. Bought my first ShuttleMAX 12.0 in early 2010. Became a Genz Benz artist shortly afterwards and never looked back. Once Jeff contacted me about his new line, I gave the Magellan 800 a try. Blown away! I did something I thought I’d never do and sold all my Genz Benz gear and replaced it with all Genzler! I am proud to be a Genz Benz/Genzler Artist for over 10 years and I never think about any other amps or cabs. Genzler in my opinion is the best!!
