Yes, I haven't gigged the MG350 yet, but I concur that it's a great practice amp. I've used it a number of times for rehearsals and I have no doubt it will carry any gig I can imagine.
The last gig I did with it was roughly 25-30 people and I ran the amp through a Hartke 112. I was able to be heard easily and had plenty of room to go up if I needed.
I did a jazz quartet gig (2 vibe players and acoustic drummer with taste) in a renovated country church ( held maybe 100 people) and used my MG350/112T-V and I don’t think I went past noon on the gain and 10 o’clock on the master. Great amp.
Are we talking about how great the Genzler gear is again?? I concur!!
I just picked up a 350 and am waiting for my cab to come in. I’m honeymoon for with it right now through IEM’s.
what settings do you all run with the 350 live?
Start flat - if you like old school more mid forward tone use b contour and dial in to taste. If you like a more modern tone or you slap use contour A.
I tend to use A unless I need more mids to punch through - then I might use B.
I also use a slight mid boost. I used a looper and twiddled the frequency knob to find my sweet spot.
with these amps flat sounds great and small adjustments are all that are needed. My contour is usually between 9 and 11 oclock

Loring pretty much nailed it. Look at jjk2007’s photo of his rig. Everything at noon and contour to taste. If you check out other photos on here you will see similar settings. Just let’s you know how good the Magellan is set flat or noon position.
I use a drive pedal before my amp so sometimes I have to adjust to certain rooms. But, here is mine with a slight cut around 500Hz. Contour A lives at 10:00 position!

Pretty flat. I have the contour at around 11 o'clock.
Oh it does!! When gigs are in full swing we play the whole range of stages. We have one where I carry the room with the cab and barely turn it up. We usually have a couple stops throughout the year where we’re on large stages (Austin rodeo or some kind of festival deal) and I really get to crank it up. I only wanted to haul one cab so the 4X10 was my logical choice. So far so good!

Aside from the end markers, how can you tell what frequency you’re hitting?
I’ve gigged my Genzler rig maybe 6-8 times since getting it. Dang COVID. Anyhow I have been super pleased running mine flat with zero contour. I think a couple of those shows I bumped the contour to about 9 o clock to smooth things out a little. I’ve never messed too much with the B contour. One gig I rolled the mid frequency all the way left to 150hz and goosed the level knob pretty good. You talk about bass in your face. I played it that way for a set and then put it back to flat. This rig sounds so good to me flat that I’ve never had to boost or cut anything to be heard. I like having that low mid boost plan in my back pocket though! Anyhow, sorry for the long winded answer. I’m sure you’ll figure out quickly what you like once you get your cabs in.

Oh, it does! The BA410-3 is one special cab. I bought it and a Berg HG410 thru a Covid deal. I play in a funk/pop band and I move around alot. Dispersion is just great with the BA410 and I can hear ALL my notes evenly when I on the other side of the stage. Thinking of selling the HG410 but it's easier to transport though. I own the MG800 and a Forte HP amp and to me the extra wattage and HP/LP filters make a big difference.
The only other her I would consider (and I have) is Bergantino. I went Genzler as I’ve used Genz Benz forever and I like it. Bergantino stuff is a little more expensive, and depending on the amp, more complex. For the little I need an amp, my Genzler combo is a fine choice. If I needed more, and used it more, I’d still probably play Genzler, but the HG cabs and HP ahead are very nice.
It doesn't matter really when you think about it. You are trying to make your bass sound better so... twist it till it sounds better.
I know that might sound trite but really if it's low mid mud - put a bit of reduction on the mid gain knob and turn it till its gone.
If you want more punch in the low mids put a bit of gain in and - turn it till it sounds better.
High mid clarity same thing only turn it more to the right.
Again most of your needs will be served and quickly with the contour - then use your tone stack to fine tune.
