Genzler Amplification Club

Bought one these little guys, is cute sounds pretty cool, super portable, handles a low b well, like the promo foto with a Sadowsky leaning on it and is my fourth Genz product, they do nice work. Is the 10 inch version.

That is a sweet looking and sounding RIG I'll
I would only need either one or the other my 410 of a 115.
I like the size of that 115.
Easiest schlep for a 15inch cab I have found.
I love the sound quality of the 15. Best sounding 15 I have ever heard IMHO. Is very light weight.

Hey guys and gals.

Guess I’m joining the ranks. I just purchased a mg800 to replace my old workhorse GB shuttle 9.0 that died an ignoble death via accidental power switching. I tried so many amps but nothing comes close to the GB in terms of usable tones, everything was trying to be its own thing.. and the one major feature I loved about my Genz was that it didn’t have to be that kid, it didn’t need to prove anything. The tone range was very clear and precise but not sterile. So it seemed a logical step up to choose a genzler. A shuttle and streamliner in one unit? Hell yes.

I do have one q though, I’m running a gk neo 410 cab, has anyone paired this with a Magellan? My shuttle used to sound great through the neo so I’m assuming this will be a similar response (oddly enough the gk fusion heads did not lol) just asking cause I normally see these paired with a bass array cab.

Ok now I just have to wait for it to make its way to little New Zealand.. possibly a month.. or two lol

Good to be on board

Well, I finally decided that I'm going with the MG12T-V so the BA10-2 is now in the TalkBass classifieds. I actually liked the tone of the BA10-2 slightly more, but the ergonomics and the sound-per-pound of the MG12T-V won the day. I would have been completely happy with either cab and G.A.S. will probably strike in the future for another BA cab.

I might just rent me that little tube head to see how it sounds... I’ve heard great things about it...
I use mine in my studio with the BA15-3. The tube saturation and the BA15-3 work together. The 22 lb doesn’t hurt (literally haha) either.

You did the only thing I would possibly consider with another head other then Genzler, I am totally happy with the Megellan 800 but Id be curious to hear what the differences were in sound with same cab but diff heads.

I am still getting use to my 2 15" SLT ARRY Cabs they are beasts.
