Took my markbass in to GC for an appraisal and this happened... I wasn't planning on it but the dude gave him his friends and family discount... a 1000watt 212 for 800 bucks was too hard to pass up.

is glorious and very hard rock.
Maybe if I posted this on my other forums!I read this very differently
I’m setting up my first home studio and before I pop for a $$$ tube DI, has anyone used the DI out from the Magellan to record? I have the standard Scarlett interface going into Garage Band now, and Logic Pro soon. Thanks!
I do! I like to use it in post EQ with my pedal rig into a cabinet IR. It really sounds great!
I went through the Genzler DI when I recorded this video. Went from the Genzler into my old Boss BR1600. Just added a pinch of compression. Using the Genzler DI always gives me the best results.
Mind sharing your eq setting and signal chain for that tone? I've never quite been able to dial in that kind of deep tone.

Thank You! That sire has a beautiful voice in shocked you say you're favoring the bridge too.Oh man.....pretty sure the EQ was flat with some A contour dialed in. This is my new Sire v5.....it has a pretty hefty tone to it. I’m sure I had the tone rolled off some too.....can’t remember. Sorry as that’s a pretty vague answer.....
edit: I was also slightly favoring the bridge p/u.
Ha! I’m sure your setup sounds amazing! That sounded great. Wonder why I have a $3K bass and a $750 DI...
