Genzler Amplification Club

I just got my notice from FedEx. Delivery of the pedal is scheduled for this Friday!!! I'm glad I have nothing planned for the day!

Meanwhile, I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for three guitar pedals, the Boss TB-2W, Analogman Peppermint and Analogman POT.

Yes, first orders have started shipping today.

Have to give a shout out to @Jeff Genzler on this as well. Had to do a workaround for us Canadians and he called me personally to get it sorted out and shipped as quickly as possible to me - so again awesome customer service!

Jeff better be careful or I’ll become a life long customer ;)

I run a Cali76 compressor to Mag 800 - how would the 4 on the floor pedal work with another compressor? Where would you put in line? Thanks in advance....
You can run it before, after or not at all…

if you run a comp before you will lose some of the touch dynamics of the drive but get a more consistent drive tone. If you run the comp after - you will get the touch dynamics of the drive and more consistent volume but the possibility of more noise with quieter playing as a comp will increase gain for quieter notes whiles squashing the louder ones ( keep in mind a drive does do some compression on its own anyways). Finally you can run it without any at all.

I tried it last night with compressor before and the compressor off as well as it being fed by another heavier distortion (plasma pedal) a wah, wah and distortion and with it feeding the drive on the 800. They were all different tones of greatness! I haven’t decided if I prefer the comp on or off with it to be honest both have something to offer.

and the wah as a distortion sandwich plasma-freaker wah-4OTF is amazing!!!

I just got mine a short while ago. I won't have time to sit down with it until later but I'm very excited!!! I run a big Cali76-TX-L first in my small line of bass pedals so that's the plan for this pedal, it will sit right after my compressor. Both will be running at 18V. I'm going to have to pick up another CIOKs DC7 for the bass board, especially because of having two pedals that like 18 volts. I really appreciate the CIOKs flexibility on my guitar board.
