Genzler Amplification Club

I just got mine a short while ago. I won't have time to sit down with it until later but I'm very excited!!! I run a big Cali76-TX-L first in my small line of bass pedals so that's the plan for this pedal, it will sit right after my compressor. Both will be running at 18V. I'm going to have to pick up another CIOKs DC7 for the bass board, especially because of having two pedals that like 18 volts. I really appreciate the CIOKs flexibility on my guitar board.

You could get the 4e… that’s what I’m doing or the 8e if you’re going big

keeps it neat with only one A/C plug going to the board.

My dilemma…

fitting these two onto/into my board!

The switcher? ES-8?
Just plugged into the cioks… it doesn’t draw as much as the plasma pedal or the shure wireless…

Sorry, been playing for 30+years and just getting into pedals. I have another 18vlt Cali 76 and my understanding is that this one is 18vlt as well. I prefer to buy a power supply that handles at least 2 at 18 and 4+ at 9 instead of buying another single 18vlt. Thanks...

Sorta jumpin’ the gun on the @Joeykun “share your settings” Olympics - but this on a nano board with 350/12T-V (Acinonyx with tone rolled off) was magic! Also tried it with the clip pushed a bit and B contour at 10 -
I’m sure many more postings to come - but @agedhorse and @jeffgenzler knocked it out of the park! Those waiting for your pedal, you’ll love it. Those on the fence…get off it!

I just got my notice from FedEx. Delivery of the pedal is scheduled for this Friday!!! I'm glad I have nothing planned for the day!

Meanwhile, I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for three guitar pedals, the Boss TB-2W, Analogman Peppermint and Analogman POT.
I wish I had that luck with FedEx! Mine was scheduled to arrive yesterday, arrived at the sorting facility a couple miles away yesterday, postponed to today, now postponed to Monday. Last time this happened it was lost for a week, and I finally had to go pick it up when they finally found it. I detest FedEx.

Am I the only one intrigued by the many references to a "new line of pedals" and the "first pedal in the line..."?

What else is in the queue? Asking for a friend who may need a bigger boat (board).

I am also quite intrigued. I'm hoping a lot more exciting pedals will be forth coming. I haven't been much of a pedal user in the past, but I am becoming a convert!

All I can say is….. Have your friend get a bigger board. ;)

I finally got to play with the 4otF this morning and am really loving it for my needs right now (light breakup/always on) and now I’m trying to decide if I pull the Broughton Messenger and add it to my wireless board for tonight’s gig.

The only logical solution is to get a bigger board…

All packed for tonight’s show and debut of the 4-OTF with my big rig!

Have a great gig!

Question: Ross Vallory has such a unique tone...do you try to replicate that as much as possible or do you just come close and make it your own sound? If you are doing Ross, what settings do you use? I would bet it starts with the bridge pickup, yes?

And on the pedal front, can you provide any VERY broad categories that my friend would want to abstain from buying now? :)

Are you going with the NC212 for the gig?
I still have my BA rig in the car from last weekend so planned to roll with that tonight*.

*Depending on the size of the stage. First time at this venue and have no idea what I’m walking into.
