With my newfound love of tubes, I’m hoping that Jeff will come out with an updated Genzler version of the Streamliner. Can’t find used Streamliners very often.My P with flats sounds like a P with flats. Caveat, it’s a P/J with a toggle to solo either pup. Bridge J pup with tone backed off on the bass gets the Jaco sound.
I have a Streamliner and B-arrays bring out that sound, specially with the 12-3. My Music Man Stingray sounds awesome through these cabs. They are pretty transparent and bring out the unique sound of whatever amp and bass you plug in.
The only sound I don’t get out of my 10-2 or 12-3 is the “SWR sizzle”, which every once in a while I miss when I want to play around and slap but haven’t needed for gigs in many years with the stuff I’m playing now.
Is slapping still a thing?

The Streamliner is a special amp.
I bought mine in tb classifieds, has been rock solid. Yeah, never see them on Ebay or Reverb but I think if you keep lookin you’ll see one here, they show up. Or just wait for your new Genzler Unicorn rig, only a matter of time, best of luck in your quest!
Maybe if I keep hinting, a prototype will show up on my doorstep one day with a note that says something like “give this a try for a few weeks and let me know what you think” or something like that.

Sounds like the Nu Classic cab is your cup’o’tea judging from the description on the Genzler site. I’d think the 10-2 would work for you but you’d have to coax it more than the Nu cab? @Jeff Genzler?

@blmeier7 ---- Thanks Diaper Geni for pushing this post back up, I had missed it. I understand the attractiveness of the BA10-2 cabs as they are a very small stage footprint, but I would focus you more towards the NU CLASSIC series, as your requirements of what you're looking for is pretty much what we were targeting with this new series. What the BA10-2 is small, the NC-112T is only 1" wider and .5" deeper. As you're currently using the Fender 15"s, the NC-112T are approx 10 lbs lighter and considerable smaller. AND for your tonal objectives I think you like the depth of the 12", the warmth of the mids, and ability to be able to blend in as much top end with the tweeter as you like. I don't know if you've seen our demo video with Nate Navarro but he uses a P with flats to demo one of the cabs.
I don't want to discourage you from considering the BA10-2 but if you've always moved on from Neo load cabs, I'm not sure that you want consider another Neo type cab, and in the GENZLER line, we really wanted to target players with your needs with the NU CLASSIC series.
I hope this info offers a little more insight into possible options.

First gig in a YEAR AND A HALF this weekend... and for a (supposedly) full time player and teacher. Damn. Felt pretty great to get back out there, though.
I hope Jeff doesn't ask for that 210 back for turning it on its side!
But out of curiosity, why do that? Is it for ear level volume? The coupling of the arrays is supposed to be one of the great features of stacking BA cabs. Did you try it both ways?

Short story: I like it and it sounds good. I get horizontal dispersion from the bottom cab, vertical from the top, it's taller and closer to my ears, and I like the specific comb filtering.
