Just played another gig with my BA210, MG800 and a Precision Elite with flats on it. Darklass clean pre, Keeley compressor and the sound guy looks at me and just goes "wow...just wow. That bass sounds so great." I will bring the BA15 next time to compare but I can't imagine wanting/needing anything else.

I e got a jazz gig coming up on Wednesday. I’m going to bring the board part of my DI a rig (leave the REDDI at home) with a tuner and Empress compressor and run it in front of my MG350/12T-V combo.

I echo @Joeykun with a much shorter experience with this particular BA combination. I went from playing DI only to adding the BA15-3 SLT for a stage monitor which quickly turned into adding the 210 and running it all summer long. It feels good and sounds amazing with a great combination of punch, quickness, fullness, and clarity.

And PLENTY loud for most any gig.

Echo all the comments about the 15 with the 210. Three, three, three rigs in one! And relatively easy to haul. I can carry one cab with each arm so it is possible to have a two trip load in. Well, YMMV of course but they are surprisingly light for the sound they throw. I can't imagine any situation that the 15+210 can't carry. GL!

I think I'm going to hafta procure a BA15-3. After reading @Joeykun 's post, it seems like the most logical thing to do, especially since I'm already 2/3rd's of the way there. I'm not a fan of the 410/115 stack, but I'd like to give it a go with the Genzler gear...

I played my Spectors last night, but I didn't take any pics. This is from last Saturday, with my Dingwalls.

I really dig the MG heads, but this Bergantino Forte HP is just a BEAST!

Need a little help in y’all’s neck of the woods. I’m currently running an Ampeg SVT 4Pro and two Ampeg SVT 212AV cabs. The cabs work perfect with my low B. Very tight and low mid forward. For a new project I’ll be in Drop A. The SVT 212AV cabs ain’t having it. They pulled it off at low volume but I’m afraid to really push them into that realm. I’m thinking about the Genzler Magellan 212T. Does anyone in this group think these cabs can handle that low A. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the svt heads, do they have a high pass filter? Maybe you need to introduce that to tame any excessive speaker movement.

I can Bi amp The 4Pro but with all the full range cabinets I use their is no need.

Happy owner of a 350 / 10-2 combo here - wanted to ask Mr Genzler a question: I'd like to take a balanced out from my rack and go into the power amp / aux in on the rear of the 350. Do I need to use a Reamp box like what Radial makes in order to accomplish this? I tried a xlr to trs cable, it works but the sound is very thin... also tried the front panel input but even with output from the rack way down and input gain barely up, I had occasional transient peaks that sound bad...

The aux input (most aux inputs actually) contains TRS stereo summing circuitry that will not work with a balanced signal since the balanced signal is intended to drive a TRS differencing (or differential) circuit.

You will need to use an XLR to TS cable, with pin 3 tied to pin 1 (this is the usual way that this type of cable is wired).

I have the BA410-3, BA210-3 SLT and BA15-3 SLT. All are amazing cabs.

With your setup adding a BA410-3 will essentially make it a 610 cab. Lots of quick punch and like Jeff said a lot more of what you have. You can add the low end in from your amp and it gives a nice bottom end making it a great rig for large venues.

Adding a BA15-3 to your BA210-3 will instantly give you that big, full, round low end with a surprising punch and clarity. I’ve gigged this rig alot and it is such full sounding in a nice compact stack! I even turned down the bass on some stages!

I even gigged the BA15-3 with the BA410-3 and OMG what a monster sound that was!!!

So, if you are looking for some nice bottom end that will compliment your BA210-3, I would suggest hands down the BA15-3.

It’s been a while since I used my Eden but I went to Genz Benz after the Eden failed on me. I have been debating a change. If you’re interested I have a MG350/12T-V combo I might want to move.

Needing a little guidance on diagnosing some rude noises coming out of my Genzler B10-2/MG350 combo. Two problems: I hear a buzzy noise when hitting certain notes on the bass--- loudest with an open E, a little less on an open A. It reduces as I go up octaves, on E and A notes. Any other note and the buzz stops.

Second problem is that when playing any louder than 90 dB, I get distortion. I measured the loudness with a SPL meter app on my iPhone. This is not limited to any particular notes. As long as I'm not playing loud, it's fine. Fine at 80dB, 85dB. Getting 90 and above it distorts badly. Pretty sure the cab should not distort until well above 96dB, as 96dB is the loudness rating with just 1 watt.

To make sure these are problems with the cab and not the amp, I plugged the amp into my other cab, a BA12-3. No buzzing, and no distortion. For the tests, I had all eq flat, contour all the way to the left. Trading Gain and Master Volume did not make a difference. Same results with Gain at 11, Master at 9, or Gain at 9 and Master at 11. The Clip LED never turns on.

I picked up the combo on TalkBass classifieds almost a year ago. I was aware of the distortion from the beginning but it was kind of minor, figured I was playing too loud. I think it has gotten worse. A lot worse. I only noticed the resonance buzz in the last few months.

I'm guessing a loose wire inside the cab causes the resonance buzz, and that could be fixed with a bit of hot clue. I'm guessing I need to replace the main speaker. Any suggestions, confirmations, other other causes for the distortion and resonant buzzing? Any tricks on opening up the cab itself?

Rig of choice last night… my Spector NS2 paired with the MG800 and one of my two BA12-3’s.

so how often do you feel you need the other 12-3? I have an opportunity to buy either one or to buy a pair, but the pair would really stretch my budget for getting a good head. You think 1 is loud enough for small clubs without pa support or med-large clubs with pa support but a loud band?

Try playing the cabinet on its side to see if you get a different result. Also, can you try it outside away from all the room rattles and buzzes? Have you checked for loose hardware?

It's more likely that the cause is simpler and less involved than a bad speaker.

Following up on what @agedhorse said: I believe I read that the line array plugs in somewhere behind the grill...perhaps the plug isn't well seated. Or the fasteners holding the line array could be loose.

In any event, I use that combo a lot. There's no way the speaker should distort at those amp settings.
