or...technically, could you run the NC212, the NC210 and the NC112 (the latter two daisy chained)? I'm not saying you should but maybe you could?

Off topic but if you compress fairly hard and use a touch of OD on the way in you can get the two channels practically identical at some gain settings. Why you would want to do that I have no clue.
I usually set my drive channel gain to where chord intervals start to distort against each other a little bit. Anything less and its too similar to the clean channel.
it sounds great. The Hydrive 115 is pretty bassy, so I turn down the bass control on the Magellan.
I asked because I use the Hx115, and 210 cabinets. I’ve only used the head with two Genz Benz focus 112 cabinets. I love the sound, but you are the first person I’ve seen using a HX cabinet with that head.
I bought the Hartke HD115 used at a killer price, and intended on using it to complement my SWR Goliath Jr. 210. But they didn’t pair up well together, so I use them for different applications. The HD115 can get crazy loud, so I’m able to use it as my sole cabinet even at loud outdoor gigs. I may sell it when I acquire a 212, which is my plan at some point in the future.
Just a heads-up that a used Magellan 212T cab just got price dropped at GC.
I had been out of my house for a bit due to repairs/remodel so no time with the 15-3 for a few weeks. I survived by using my Two Notes cab M+ and headphones; pretty nice but definitely not the same.
I tried out my 5 watt Blackhawk Odin tube head with the 15-3 last night. It was pretty fun with my 4 string Dingwall Super J plugged in the lower gain input, once dialed in a little.

Hey all...just beginning to think about transitioning away from my BA cabs (I have a 15 and 210) to NuClassics. Thinking about it for the following reasons:
1. I think I prefer a more vertical, smaller footprint cab
2. My back says "stop" more than it says "pick up that beautiful sounding cabinet one more time"
3. I don't play loud stage volume gigs anymore and if I do, pretty sure the NuClassics will get where I need to go)
4. I'm a little bored and frankly looking for something to shop for
Thinking about pairing my Magellan 800 -- that's not going anywhere -- with a NuClassic 112 and 210. Though I'm not sure the weight is much better than what I have. A quick look at the specs says that I really only save on the 112 over the 115. Hmmm.
OK Genzler friends, please share thoughts and ideas. I know the right answer is to just get one of everything and be done, or hire a lumper but neither of those is likely.

All the stuff is good. I’ve been very happy with my MG350/112T-V combo. If I ever needed more volume then what I get now, I’d get another 112T-V and stack em. I bet a pair of those - with either head - would be amazing.

There is no doubt the Nu Classic cabs will handle any gig out there. They are less 3-dimensional sounding than the BA cabs. But, they still have the punch and clarity that Genzler is known for.
The 210T is 39 lbs and the 112T is only 28 lbs making portability an ease! Of course, it pairs well with the Magellan too.
I spent some time with both cabs and they really do sound great. If you want the Genzler sound and quality with a more friendly portability, the Nu Classics are it!

So I’ve had a week to try out the 10-2 with the 12-3. With it by itself on the 12-3, I do have to add in a fair amount of low end and dial out some mids (at least in the room I’m in). But it handles it beautifully, doesn’t complain, and can go quite loud. Together with the 12-3, it’s just awesome. I know I won’t even be able to hear just how good it is until I have it in a larger space and can turn up, but the sound is just clean, clear, and balanced in all of the best ways. I’m looking forward to some gigs in the next few months!
I’m on MG 800 with two 12-3’s currently… loving it but thinking of this config to give me a bit more mid punch as well as smaller setup (just the 10-2) for rehearsals or smaller room gigs. Whatcha think?
A pair of 12T-Vs with either MG head is amazing.
I like that description of the BA cabs. But I'm also liking the taller, thinner NC cabs. The BA 15 and the 210 are quite wide and though the slanted cabs give me good feedback, they take up a lot of space on the floor. Can you coax a good modern sound out of the NC cabs?

I'm seeing new NC112s on sale at several places for 30% off! That puts it at about $455 which is a steal. Maybe worth buying to try out, then sell the BA cabs and pickup a 210. Hmmm.....
