Thinking of picking a BA 10-2 or one of the NuClasic 112. I don't need something absolutely loud., but I do play with a sax and trumpet player. Currently using an Elf 2x8 with a Magellan 350 head and a passive 4 string. I am leaning towards the BA 1x10 because a local shop has it and it's pretty easy to carry around.

I would have let you check out my BA 10s - a great small format, highly portable option, especially if you add a second (or third!) cabinet. The only reason I don't have them anymore is because I felt that the BA 12s were a better match for my needs, and because I'm not constrained by space or vehicle transport limitations. If I was a gigging player in New York City and needed something I could take on the subway or in a taxi, the 10s would be the way to go!

Got one more weekend of indoor gigs before the outdoor season starts. The NC-212T has served my winter needs well but it's time to switch out for the heavy hitters!

I have the Magellan 350 combo with another BA10-2 extension. At first I thought I would need to use both cabinets anytime I played with a drummer and electric guitars. After playing outside with drums and multiple guitars and a keyboard (at a low volume party) I was truly impressed with how the single BA10-2 handled it. Another time I used the single cab with pretty much the same compliment of musicians in a small to medium bar, and again came away surprised at how well the single cab did. The music was originals mixed with some blues—nothing screamingly loud, but still the coverage of the Magellan 350 combo wound up being way better than I had anticipated.

For anyone browsing the Genzler thread - and you're thinking about taking the plunge into the brand with a new cabinet or head - THIS is why you buy this stuff. Yes, they sound fantastic. But you're not just buying a great cabinet or head...you're buying into a level of personal support from the man and company that simply cannot be beat.

I have had Genzler cabs from each of the lines. BA, Magellan, and the NuClassic. It seems to me that no matter which you choose, you can't really go wrong. They all sound fantastic. More a matter of personal performance needs. Great gear

Haha I was being a bit…I love two 15 stacks and did try with a different 15. But I cant post about it, and thought there may be some early adaptors who would.

My Genzler Bass Array Tower of Power is just hours away from being complete...the third cabinet is out for delivery and should arrive at the house in the next couple hours! VERY excited.

Ahead of delivery, I am hoping to get some guidance about the optimal approach for hooking up the three cabinets to my Crest Pro-Lite 3.0...running them off one channel, bridging the amp, etc. etc. Thoughts welcome! Below is a link to the Crest spec sheet for reference. THANK YOU!

Don't run 3 cabinets in bridge mode, the amp's rared for 4 ohms minimum load bridged.

That leaves 2 cabinets on one channel and 1 cabinet on the other channel (presuming they are all 8 ohm cabs) in DUAL mono mode.

Here is the 15 on the left, next to the 210. Slightly shorter. Slightly snarlier in the mids. I did an “initial thoughts” comparison on the Nu-Classic thread. I’m still trying to pick my second Nu-Classic cab to go with my NC-112.
