Running an EA iAMP Classic 1200 into Genzlers (a BA15-3 and 210-3). Also tried the Genzler BA15-3 and separately the 210-3 with a Markbass CMD102P. See pics. And yes, the basses are moved to clear the port before playing.
Regardless of head or combo the rig is, well, it's boomy as heck. Can't seem to get the rumble from the Genzlers down to a manageable shape. They push a ton of sound but they just seem to be designed more for large outside gigs. Thoughts?
Contemplating a switch to a Genzler Magellan 800 into a Barefaced Big Baby II or Big Twin instead. I am very much used to the punchy clean response of the old GK800RB pushing a Hartke stack of 4x10 + 2x10.
