@Michael Vee ---we can do a cover for this small combo with a pouch that goes over the amp head and a handle cutoff to grab the cabinet handle. It is a custom thing and can be done in a few days.

For those who have not followed very long, Jeff tirelessly responds very quickly and resolves any issues a customer has! I had questions and these were answered quickly and with spot on feedback that was so true. Bought my cab unseen and heard. Was not disappointed. @Michael Vee im going to check out the 210-3 that is on top of the 15-3. I don’t Need it but, I’m sure it will be something to hear! Jamvan has high praise for that combo of cabs. GAS is real!

I couldn't agree more, so I will agree wholeheartedly. Jeff's the best! He's really taken care of me during my recent new Genzler ownership.

Has anyone run 2 x BA210-3SLT cabs together with a BA115-3 ... possible with the 115 in the middle of the stack.
I'm thinking that would be a crazy, good-sounding rig, that could handle about any venue & offer a lot of versatility in different pairings (yeah, I know you'd need an amp that could handle the 2.67 Ohm impedance).

I have not done it but can not think of any reason why it would not sound amazing. Putting the 15 in the middle sounds like a really good idea imo, go for it.

I always wanted to try this too. But, decided the BA410-3 would be best. However, 3 SLT cabs are doable. But, I’d do a straight BA210-3 on top of the BA15-3 SLT/BA210-3 SLT. Agree this would be a killer setup!

After moving to the MG350 + 2x BA12-3 rig, the only thing I miss from my previous rig (with Alembic F-2B and IN-2) is the ability to go stereo. However, I just found another MG350 for cheap, so now it will all be in stereo!

I have been a little frustrated with my Stomp. I have a gig next Saturday where I plan to use it, and a couple effects, and see how it sounds. I know I’ll hear it in my ears but it’ll be up to our sound guy to tell me if it makes an impression in the house. I’ve never been an effects guy, but we’ll see. Generally I think bass effects get lost in the FOH mix but we’ll see.

If it isn’t all that and a bag of chips, I may move the Stomp and go with the preamp/DI pedal. It’ll fit, I have power (CIOKS DC7) for it, and I have an MG350 so I’m used to the sound.

Or maybe the re/Q pedal? Would the output be enough to go to FOH? Or do I need the preamp pedal?

I'd go for the Magellan Pre, Steve. It's got the two Contour curves, and it's got the same 3-band eq as the MG-350/800. The re/Q is a 5-band EQ with 5 fixed frequencies (i.e. no sweepable mids), no Contours, and its Instrument-Level rather than Mic-Level or Line-Level like the Magellan Pre offers. The re/Q would be fine if you're just looking to add an EQ pedal and you have some other DI solution downstream, but the Magellan Pre would give you the EQ you're already familiar with plus the DI/Preamp functionality.

Yeah, after looking at both I think that’s what I’d do if I go even more minimal than I am. I was thinking just a Radial Pro DI or something, but I might like to have a little tone control and the HPF and contours are nice options.

The Re/Q will work, but you will still need a DI to get the signal to FOH. The Pre-DI is a much more complete solution for what you are needing to do.

That makes sense, but I'd rather have the 2 x SLT if I ever ran just the two 210's in a mini-stack.
I'm not really worried about the excess lean-back.
For a 2 cab option, I'd have to see which I preferred - the 2 x 210 or 115 + 210.
If I already knew I'd prefer the mixed stack, then yeah, having the 2nd 210 be a STR would be preferable.
Three 210's would be bad@$$ as well, then I'd for sure do 2 x SLT + 1 x STR on top.

As you can disable each block separately in the HX stomp I suggest to start your effects setting with all blocks disabled. While then enabling one block at a time you will notice which one steals your sound. Generally I recommend to just enable effects which are absolutely necessary. Less is more.

I started out calling it "R E Q" (3 syllables), but lately I've come around to what I suspect is more correct: "Ree Q" (2 syllables).

What was the designers' intent?
