@whodom ---- Thanks so much for the purchase. The Nu Classics do deliver the goods in their own unique way. Great classic tone. Probably sounds really good with the Streamliner, and delivers every watt of output power that amp puts out.

Second cab on the way. I'll either add a third 10-2 or a 12-3 to add some beef.

Even though it’s against my best interest with a series 1 10-2 for sale, I highly recommend the 12-3 to pair. It adds so much depth. It’s definitely bigger and heavier than the 10-2, but it gives you more options for building the rig to fit the gig.

The Series 2 cabs are amazing!! I love the new array speakers in them. Enjoy…especially with a 2nd one!

When I first got the 10-2 Series 2 cabinet out of the box, and mounted the head, I was dumbfounded. I knew the dimensions, from the website, but wasn't prepared for the tinyness.

I had/have a very small setup before, either the Quilter 800 or the Mesa D-350 paired with an Acme B-1, but the Combo is smaller. When I plugged in and started playing, I was floored by the big voice and the tone. It seems to defy the laws of speaker design physics.

Most other Genzler owners on this thread have the big guns- M800, 410-3, 15-3 and the 12-3s, as well as the bigger Nu Classics, but probably don't have the 10-2s, and don't have experience with them. They are remarkable.

Obviously the 10-2 won't compete with the big cabs past a certain point, but the 10-2 combo could easily be the best small gig amp available. The combo has impressed me every time I've played a show with it.

Easily the best combo at it's size and power and can handle a lot and put out a lot - within reason like you said. I had one and it was amazing. I stepped up just slightly to the MG12T-V cab with my MG350 mounted. Amazing combo. The 12" gives me just a tab more with my 5 string, but the 10 handled it pretty well.

Mine was the original. That was a great cab so I can't imagine how good V2 is.

Back in the club. I sold off my Magellan 350 a while ago to try the Quilter stuff. It's good, but I like this better. Magellan 350 with the 10-2 series 2 speaker. I'll probably pick up another 10-2 if I need to scale up, but honestly most of my gigs are either direct (no stage volume) or have enough PA support that anything bigger than this is really overkill.

Same here, I had the 12-3 and then got the 10-2 and I couldn’t believe how small it was. I had a GK MB112 before that, and that was bigger and didn’t sound as full (that was still a great combo).

I’m pulling the FS for now, hoping I can avoid having to sell it in the future. It’s so nice for theater or anything relatively small.

That’s the 215, an amazing cab in its own right. The 215 sounds “bigger” and louder….mostly because it is. It is very articulate for a 215, but these 10-2s are next level. The have more tight/punch. Though I can dial in good punch with the 215, the 10-2 stack almost seems to punch all the way to the high mids. Nothing is over hyped or scooped out. As good as the 215 is, I love everything about these Genzler cabs. Seriously thinking about moving it down the road and grabbing a third 10-2 (or 12-3 STR).

Love the 10-2s. Two of them definitely sound better than one. I'll probably get the third, eventually, just to complete the stack. Adding the second sounds so much better but if you're only looking for occasional stage volume then that might not matter.

Nice pics of the little BA10-2-S2 cabs.
When we determined we needed to change from the original to the Series 2, with all new loudspeakers, we did not take it lightly. There was a lot of development time and energy, investigating the right blend of drivers that would work for our needs and in such a compact enclosure. And the sourcing of the small array drivers to achieve our goals, is an entire other matter!
And in the end, we feel we made a nice, substantial upgrade to this little dynamo.

A lot of thought, experience and energy goes into making such a transition. Just sayin.....
