I wonder if the new drivers are retrofittable to the series I cabs.

New array speakers due to supply. Jeff will be here soon with all the info on these cabs. Having A/B Series 1/Series 2, these new arrays bring new life to already stellar cabs!Maybe I missed it but...why? Not that I'm not thrilled, I love my two 12-3 cabs. But what is being updated and for what reasons?
Of course with the updated power handing, I can only be left to wonder if a new head is in the works…
Is there any stability issues with running a triple SLT stack? Jeff doesn't offer a 10-2 STR, and I really want a 3rd cab. Or, if I went with a 12-3 STR, would there be any issues (phase / combing / just not sound as good as a matching 3rd 10-2)?

@rowsi --- this is a very fair question and we totally expected this.Maybe I missed it but...why? Not that I'm not thrilled, I love my two 12-3 cabs. But what is being updated and for what reasons?
One could always put some kind of wedge under the rear of the bottom cabinet to reduce the total angle up top. A stack shim! (I got that analogy from Stew-Mac advertising neck shims today, and spending some time watching the videos)
@rowsi --- this is a very fair question and we totally expected this. After extensive design and testing, we settled upon a new mix of Neodymium woofers and 3" full range speakers that really took what we first developed with the BA cabs, and added even more value to what they offer ----- lighter-weight, higher power handling, extended tonal response, inclreased clarity, etc. I hope this is helpful. And if anyone has more questions, please feel free to email or PM me.

That sounds about right - I think the Magellan came out in 2015 or 2016.How old is the design of the Magellan heads? It's been eight years? More?
Jeff, per Edwin's earlier inquiry, did the Series 2 redesigns include changes in the port tunings?
AND we remain extremely proud of every BA we've created over the years. If you have a current BA cab and love your tone, there is no reason to go out and change.
