Genzler Amplification Club

All I know is that I'm very curious about the new cabs, but also looking forwarding to using my Genzler rig this weekend. I'm playing a venue that has a house rig with a Markbass 4x10, which is quite convenient (although the head sucks, so I have been bringing in the MG350). I've always enjoyed the cabinet and it's pillowy low end, but the BA12-3s not only supply all that low end, but it's very tight and accurate. I've been spoiled, so no more being lazy. Life's too short for sloppy tone!

Last weekend I added the second MG350 for a full stereo rig. Glorious.

I can answer this.
You’ll get a little more high mid in the 1K area with Series 2 and less overall weight of the cab. As someone who owns Series 1 BA410-3, BA15-3 & BA210-3 SLT cabs, there is no need to sell your gear and make the change. If you need more top end out of your cabs, Series 2 makes a great addition to your Series 1 cabs.

I have played the Series 1 & 2 BA15-3 SLT cabs together and they compliment each other. I have a show on Saturday and I will be using the Series 1 & 2 BA410-3 cabs to test those out together. More to come on that.

But, your current Series 1 cabs are still better than anything else out there and sound amazing. Fact!!! :thumbsup:

I can comment, as I own a straight and a slanted variant.
To me, the slant feels a bit more punchy and the straight a tad fuller in the bottom. It is subtle but I believe its there.
I like both on their own, but best use case is the slant at the bottom and straight on the top :thumbsup: The coupling of both cabs just does work and gives a greater as the sum of its parts sound.

It’s always hard when something new comes out, but there’s always going to be something new. Doesn’t mean what you have is any less than it was yesterday - especially when talking about high end gear like Genzler.

That doesn’t help G.A.S. At all, but it is true. I need to follow my own advice. This is one time when I’m glad most of my gigs are DI/IEM/Silent Stage.

@RyanAVA ---- Your comments represent a very big part of our advance concerns we had when developing the new BA2 series. We had several internal discussions about players that have already invested in our products and now we're bringing something new.
For one, we don't oftern make drastic changes to our product lines like other companies.
Your concerns were heard, even before the public launch.
Just seems in todays world there are so many dynamics at play in manufacturing and business, that you try to make the best choice to satisfy as many issues as you can.

As I've said, the original BA cabs and design are still among the best available and there is no reason to change if you're completely satisfied with the orignal BA cabs. But for players looking for a new rig today and going forward, we now have a BA line that we can continue to offer to the marketplace.
And along the way, we've been able to make enhancements in performance and weight that were not avaialble to us when the design was first developed back in the 2014 and 2015.

I hope this background sheds more light on this transition. And thank you all for your continued interest to what GENZLER AMPLIFICATION brings to the "table of tone".
