My 10" arrays got an amp head upgrade yesterday. I couldn't decide between the Genzler MG800 or this Mesa but I suppose one couldn't go wrong with either one. I thought a touch of tube goodness would match up well with the arrays and keeping it within the family, the Mesa was a no brainer. Sound is luscious, no surprise! I run it in 2 ohm mode for a little extra protection putting 300 watts to each array cabinet since the cabs themselves are rated at 300 watts.
Now that I finally have a 2 ohm compatible amp I could add another array sometime in the future, but right now I'm quite content. It's such an easy rig to move around and the sound is huge proportionate to its size and weight. Backed up by people who are always around if there were ever a question or issue, can't ask for much more than that.

Ever pushed any other Genzler cabs with that WD-800?
No, the BA10-2 are my very first Genzler cabs and I'm really happy with them. This is my second WD800, I had one 2 years ago and really missed it, driving a Subway 1x15 back then. The arrays and WD work magic together.
Well, not a WD-800, but a D800+, pushing a BA15-3 or the MG 800. Both heads are awesome, and both work well combined with the BA15-3!

A “FB Memory” popped up from a gig 7 years ago. I have since switched to 15’s, but this was using BA12-3 pair.
Because they’re three better!
So with my band being slow I’ve started to throw my name out there as a sub and have started getting some hits. Got hit up to play at The Blind Pig in downtown Austin on 6th street doing southern rock and some country with a few twists thrown in last night. Not knowing what to expect I pulled out the Genzler rig for the first time this year! (I know I know) This was my first time using my recently acquired jazz bass through it. After the 1st set the BL and drummer came over inquiring about it because they couldn’t believe the volume and massive lows coming out of the cab. They were also amazed how spread out the sound was. I showed them the array stack and dropped some Genzler wisdom on them…
I gave the bass knob a little boost and cut some upper mids and that was it. I ended up just using the cab to fill the space (it was somewhat narrow but very long) and didn’t even bother going direct. It sounded spectacular all night long. Another Genzler victory!!

All this discussion about three slanted cabs and Genzler social media goes and posts a photo of someone’s rig. 350 + three 10-2 cabs. Nice!

Band's first gig in a while. A Brew pub with a somewhat noisy crowd. Acoustics are difficult buy my BA2-112-3-SLT sounded amazing, once again.
I still need to remember to set up a nice stage image in my performance area. All I see is my gear. Photos show there's more to it. After all these years you'd think I'd know better.

One of the very few posts I’ve seen on the BA2-112-3-SLT. Surprised I don’t see more of these out there. I like the 19” width, compact footprint, and 400 watt power handling of this 12” upgrade. It looks like a good option for those who don’t need the larger 210 and 115 models. As much as I like the presence of midsize and large cabs, with IEM’s and FOH systems there is more pushback against larger stage rigs. But even with IEM’s I gotta have something onstage to feel it and not get buried standing next to the drum kit. For smaller gigs (<100 people) where there might be 112 guitar amps onstage with mics and plexiglass shields this cab might be a good fit.

Thank you for using our gear. I think you're stage pic looks like a typical bar band set up. I like it.
And yes, this compact BA2-112-3SLT cab can deliver in surprising places.
Well here ya go. And I’ll stack another 12-3 occasionally.
My setup. I have 1 SLT which I put on the bottom with an MG800.

I've played that stage, and I'd say that's a perfect setup for that room
Any users of the NuClassic cabs, have you played a stack of the 1x12 and the 2x10? I saw a demo using this setup and it seemed to sound great, and the ability to just take one or both as needed is appealing.
