It really does have a nice bounce to it. Yes, there is something special that a tube output section brings to the table, but I really, really like what the Kinetix does with its preamp tubes, and it is about as responsive/interactive as I have heard in a hybrid head.

Nate had too much grunge and dirt going on the whole time, I'd of liked to have heard what it sounds like cleaner. Honestly, I got a lot more out of Tom's demo, especially when he A B'd it to the MG800.

No this features is not like the Mesa at all. This offers various compound curves to the HPF along with 3 options for low frequency response curves as well.

So, if This New Thing is something that makes 400/800 like the Mag 800, is it going to be safe to run it through a BA 10-S2 or 12, or would I need to get something more like the 15 or 210? I'm a bit hesitant to run 400 watts through a 300watt-rated cab, just because, you know, a hundred more. And ignorance.

Sometimes it's important to acknowledge you know nothing.

That’s the way I plan to use it. 2x BA 10-2 S2. I suspect it’s like any other similar set up, just use your ears.

It's a done deal for me the videos were confirmation! Now it's just all about the timing on when to order. I'm shooting for mid to late June and no later than early July. I have a major family vacation at the end of May. So right after that soon as possible. I hardly play out so having a amp with tubes in it solved my gas issues trying to obtain a Oracle or Noble.

Genz-Benz Contour 500 2x10 is getting a bit dated and on the occasion when I need take a rig, the new gear would be lighter and easier to carry.
