There are a few technical issues that don't allow for this platform in a smaller, lower powered version using the smaller Class D module, at this time.

Just picked up from Chuck Levins, I picked up My Fuchs FBT from church, hope to have time to make a short video worth watching comparing the two, maybe even the Laney DB500H even though the other two are in another league.

I love the new eq format. Always preferred 4 band or more. Not a fan of the name, but I didn’t like Magellan either, and I own 2. I miss some of the aesthetics of the streamliner, like the metal knobs and glowing window for the tubes. I like that the input nut is metal now instead of plastic. If the tone is superb, like the Magellan and streamliner, and I’m sure it is, I’ll prob bite the bullet.

No this features is not like the Mesa at all. This offers various compound curves to the HPF along with 3 options for low frequency response curves as well.

May I ask why a variable high-pass filter wasn't provided?

BTW your playing was good brother don't be so hard on yourself. That Fuchs sounded really good. The Kinetix was the warmest sounding of the 3. The Digbeth was the thinnest of the 3 but still not a bad. Your amp head needs are truly well covered.

@Jeff Genzler Some comments remind me of my tenure as mayor of SimCity. While residents demanded infrastructure and services, fulfilling those never quenched the thirst for more, more, more. Throw in a natural disaster or 2 when things seemed to be going well, and it was back to the drawing board amidst never-ending discontent.

Otherwise, wow! What an interesting and cool new amp! I can't wait to find one to try.

I really like the idea of the lean (+2) switch, and how it employs makeup gain depending on hpf rolloff. As a longtime user of a rock solid fdeck hpf, I find your variation quite appealing, with no need to duplicate a feature I have at my disposal when/if needed.

Tube DI? Fabulous

Your chosen EQ points in 4 bands? Excellent

2.7ohm capable? Must have

Need for a similar amp with less wattage? Never. I simply adjust volume.

Need for standalone preamp? No interest. Can use the head in that capacity, direct to FOH or studio desk.

Thank you for persisting in your work, products, and service for/to bass players, even amidst seemingly never-satisfied, clamoring voices. You would make a much better mayor of SimCity than me.
