Genzler Amplification Club

What's coming is something very different from the MG amps. Those are not going anywhere. We believe there will be players for both designs and some may choose to have both. Choices...
Very excited for this. If it can do the Streamliner feel and thickness with more teeth if desired and larger tone palet, Wow. This..could..be..the..one!

@Jeff Genzler Jeff, tried many other smaller footprint stomps, still looking for a solid, full, classic SVT-ish plus effects solution for when I need to bark and growl. I’ll clear the footprint/free up the real estate for the right box.
Crash Box or 4 On The Floor?

Here I sit on top of one of New York's most exclusive clubs, enjoying the skyline vue, where Jeff Genzler of Genzler Amplification provided all his dealers with an all-expense paid trip to his New Product Release Party! I eye the stacks of Gear featuring the new product, that has been set up with a complete band backline. Sitting on the drums is Carmen Apice, who catches my eye and grins, obviously saying that he & I are going to rock the place right at Noon. Bottles of champagne are chilled on ice, awaiting, and… dang, I wake up; gotta quit drinking milk before bedtime.

So, if This New Thing is something that makes 400/800 like the Mag 800, is it going to be safe to run it through a BA 10-S2 or 12, or would I need to get something more like the 15 or 210? I'm a bit hesitant to run 400 watts through a 300watt-rated cab, just because, you know, a hundred more. And ignorance.

Sometimes it's important to acknowledge you know nothing.

I have always run higher-powered rated amp watts than speaker rated watts. Remember the speaker is THERMAL rated. So just use your ears and listen for distress. I ran my BA12-3 single with a MG800 many times, no problem.

This new "thing" is in stock and SHIPPING TODAY. Several of our dealers have them in stock already for shipping after our noon EST launch.
This is something I've always respected. When you have a new product to announce, we don't wait for weeks or months before it ships. Same day. That's the way it's supposed to be.

I had this thought as well. Not quite as board/stage floor friendly as a Noble or Khan or REDDI, but man I bet it's a great DI.

Here is a link to my "First Look" review of the Kinetix 800, including part of my interview with Jeff regarding the Kinetix. We will have a lot more to come later on, including a full review, with bench testing, gig reports, more comparisons, etc., but we wanted to help spread the word as soon as possible!
