You guessed it… Kinetix incomming

Brilliant! This will be my game plan.
For the last 25 years, my big rack rig has been an Alembic F-1x for big fat warm tube goodness (most recently, into my stack of 3 Bass Arrays). I've run a variety of different pedals and EQs in front of it to take advantage of additional tone shaping and flavor while still preserving the tube warmth of the Alembic as my "always on" sound. The one downside of the Alembic, and its associated Crest 3.0 DSP power amp/small nuclear reactor, is the schlep. The Kinetix/Magellan preamp strategy sounds like the ultralight alternative!
@Parzival --- There are no plans for a STRAIGHT BA15 design. Part of the magic of that cab is the angular internal geometry which reduces standing waives, thus offering a tighter, less fubby bottom end. The slanted cab is a big part of what this model offers, and the line array is just that much more balance and clarity with the overall response.
Hope this helps. Just one thought --- I've seen one or 2 players use a wedge under the bottom of the cab, to get it to project in a more straight/flat format.
And for your consideration of a 3 stack mega-kit ---- personally, I'd put the BA210-3STR in the middle of both SLT cabs (15 on the bottom) and stand back...way back!
They do indeed. Wondering how much of that magical dimensionality and weight that the Khan adds might be had through the tube fronts on the Kenetix, TT, or WD.The khan and Magellan pair up nicely.
Anyone own or try both the Mesa tube options (TT or WD) and the Kinetix? Wondering how they compare in the categories of tubey goodness and bounce. Currently using a Magellan amp but running a Khan DI and Broughton Slampeeg to add some tubeyness. Wouldn’t mind shrinking the pedalboard by getting tubes in the head.
Thoughts on running the new Kinetix with my two 12T-V cabs? I've loved the all Mag combo but this new amp....can it get an SVT flavour going?

I also run the Khan into a Magellan 800. I love what the Khan brings. Lots of rich harmonic color. And I too have been wondering a lot about both the new Kinetix head and how it would compare to the hybrid Mesa heads and to the Magellan.
The one thing I sometimes (not that often) wish I had was more tube breakup available through the amp head. Having said that, when I play live the signal that FOH receives is from my pedalboard. So whatever breakup a new head would give me would only be for my reference. If I had a little more GAS I would order a Kinetix but in my case it doesn’t make sense to sell the Magellan and take a hit, to try out the tube preamp that would only be for stage use.

Bringing the thunder down under !
Nice rig. Simple but powerful. So how are you running stereo? One channel from your stomp and the other out of the Genzler’s DI?
Gotcha! That’s pretty versatile and you’ve got a lot of watts with those two heads. Why do you run stereo? Are you using special reverbs or delays? I run two channels when I record but not necessarily stereo, one DI signal and a mic’d cab signal.Stereo Stomp to two MG350s to two Genzler BA cabs (sometimes three).
