Genzler Amplification Club

The 4 On The Floor replaced three of my pedals. A tech 21 and two MXRs.
That's quite an endorsement! For milder dirt, I've been using a Tech 21 VT Bass since 2011. I have a Source Audio Aftershock that is capable of all sorts of dirt. I'm thinking of swapping the 4OTF for the VT and seeing how that goes. I definitely didn't need the pedal, but I couldn't resist. We're living in an amazing time for gear!

These are the pedals it replaced, I have a Magellan DI on the way to go straight to the house where I play at church, replacing my MXR bass preamp. I’ve got no complaints with any of these pedals, just prefer the Genzler products. For me they are easier to dial in the sound I want and very suitable for my applications.

When you get it hooked up share some pictures! I need to get some longer patch cables so I can move my di to the top of the board.
The only pedal board I have currently is one of the little Nano ones that I currently have packed with a Zoom ms-60b+, a VT Bass and 3 SA pedals. Im going to pull off the VT and one of the SAs. The 4OTF is a slightly wider pedal but I think it'll fit if I ditch those 2 pedals. So far I've just been using it on its own, and I really like it.

I'm using it by itself at church today. If we really get cooking, I might shift it into 4th and let em have it! 😎

I get to be on team next week, first time for the Magellan DI. Looking forward to having the same sound at church as I do when I’m plugged into my 350. Blessings and peace today!

I love everyone evolving their setups and bringing in more and more Genzler kit. I’m only a few short weeks away from the big rig making an appearance again and then we’re off to the races. We’ll see y’all again in October. 😂

Keep on keepin’ on!

Wow, that is a packed schedule. Enjoy the run, and glad you're able to roll out the bigger rig. Thanks again for using our gear.

I have thought about ditching my Stomp and using the Magellan Pre Pedal as well as I have a 350 (mounted on a 12-TV cab) that I use when I do gigs with an amp. I rarely do those any more but love the sound.

I use a couple effects on the Stomp so I’d need to buy stuff and redo my rig so I’m just staying with my Stomp. But I think about this all the time.

I know we aren’t supposed to covet…but that rig!

I practice the set list at home out of my 350 and love the tone/sound, then get to church, where we go straight to the board, and be underwhelmed. I’m present but without presence. Between the 4 on the floor and this DI, I was able to ditch a few pedals.
