I've been wondering for a while how the Bass Array 112-3 sounds compared to the 115-3 and 210-3 that I currently own. Well, I found a somewhat dog-eared used BA-112-3 at Guitar Center for a good price and decided to give it a try.
The 210/115 combo sounds really great, but I'm finding it to be like bringing a Howitzer to a fist fight most of the time. I play bars, pubs, and the occasional outdoor gig, but we use IEM's and almost always have a PA. So I've bringing either just the 115 or just the 210 to my gigs, and wanted to see how the 112 sounded, since it's even smaller and lighter than the other two.
It just came in today, but I have to say I really like it so far! I spent some time comparing them in my practice room.
Have any of you made the switch from 210 or 115 to a 112? Or vice-versa? I'd love to hear about your experience.

- The 112 sounds warmer and punchier than the other two individually.
- The 210, to my surprise, has the fattest low end of the three (with flat EQ out of my Magellan 800). And probably the flattest frequency response throughout the range. Not as punchy as the 112, though.
- The 210+115 combo also sounds very even, and benefits from the lower frequency extension of the 115. I think the combo sounds better than the 112 solo. Wonder how it compares to 2x112?
- Compared to the other two, I don't like the 115 as much as a stand-alone cabinet. I suppose that if I only use a single cab from my original setup, I'd probably be happier with the 210 than the 115.

. There is a little PA leakage but most of what you are hearing should be the cab. For years I've used a tweeter loaded cab so I had to think about EQ a little different with the Genzler rig. Once I figured that all out it was easy peasey....you can definitely get some killer tones out of these cabs! Make sure you use headphones for the best listening.....
