Very nice rig! Plenty but still easy to transport. You should get some good use out of that.
Is anyone using a speaker cab cover other than the branded Genzler ones? If so, what is it and how do you like it?
In addition to the oem covers I've had good luck with TUKI Covers. Well made good fit. Tuki Covers - Shop Padded Amp Covers and Speaker Covers
Tuki is great! Very padded and will make ya whatever, have bought a few from them over the years. Another route is measuring your cab dimensions and hire a local seamstress to make one out of your choice of vinyl! 1/2" clearance all around is nice to have.
My Magellan 350 combo with a series 1 BA 210 has become my go everywhere set up, replacing my Genz Benz Contour 500 15"
I always heard nice comments about the Benz, but the last 4 gigs have had a sound guy and several solid bass players in the audience. All have said how great the tone is coming off stage with the Magellan, making reference specifically to clarity and tone rather than just "sounds good."
The last sound guy at a benefit for veterans on Saturday specially noted when I would switch contour settings from A to B. I told him it was the amp/cab setup that made the difference not the player and he suggested everyone should buy one of those.
He also said there were problems mixing the sound on stage. Apparently my outfit was too loud.

The 350 is a great little head. The 800 is great and the Kinetix sounds awesome, but the 350 can get it done. I have one mounted to the 112T-V cab for my combo. It sounds great, is plenty loud and easy to transport.
We played with several bands and the time it took for the guys to drag a SVT 8x10 cab on off was interminable. The combo (1x10 array) and 210 cab I could carry in both hands, place 'em, connect, tune and play. So far, I've need nothing larger, but I'm not playing arenas. *sad emoji*
Right. Many “combo” rigs will do just fine and if you need more, there should be FOH anyway.
I haven't gigged in awhile but even 15 years ago and more many of my colleagues were buying smaller 1x10 and 1x12 combos to use as stage monitors while using the FOH to do their "heavy lifting". We still retained larger rigs for those events where it may have been needed but those combos got a whole lot of use.
I can't help but thinking my MG 350 Combo is ideal for that and if I do need more I can add the second 1x10 cab and have a rig that would handle any kind of gig I would be asked to play any longer. IMHO there are no actual trade offs in using smaller lighter weight rigs of the kind and quality Genzler produces.
I'd love to hear a Kinetix 800 with 3 BA2-10-2 - I'm thinking punch-city, with a very balanced frequency response and a very scalable rig!

What does the Furman do? Is it a voltage regulator? I would imagine with the touring you do and the different theatres you're in there are probably vast fluctuations. Does it help with noise too?
Just curious. I haven't toured like that so that's something I'm not familiar with.

It’s basically a glorified power strip. It is quiet. Sometimes when my pedalboard is plugged in a different circuit, I’ll get a buzz through my rig. I’ll run a quad box out of my Furman to my pedalboard and buzz is gone. Everything on the same circuit. It does come in handy for viewing voltage meter, charging my wireless, phone, etc!
I bought one to go with the Genzler system. Take as few risks as you need to

Note that in practice those power strips do nothing to reduce any risks.
