Genzler Amplification Club

My gig tonight got rained out about an hour and a half in, but the amp was sounding great and we still got paid!

Well, what do you know. Advertising that ain't quite accurate. Who'da thunk it?

It does make a convenient power strip, at least. And it's built like a tank.
Agreed, they do make convenient power strips.

This NC212 just showed up. I love how tiny the foot print is. I'm going to split my signal and run dirty into the Magellan 800 and NC212 and clean into the tube channel on the Shuttlemax 9.2 and Uber Bass 212. It is going to sound glorious!View attachment 7283707
The NC212 might be my favorite cab of all time. Size/Value/Performance are top notch. I have run 5 different heads into it and they all sound great.

I am putting together a lighter set up as a new band I am in seems to be getting booked. I love my tube head, but not to move. Just watched the video of the Kinetix 800. Tube pre amp stage, with (I believe) class d power. Video sounds great. Seriously considering ordering one. Would love to hear from anyone using one. I play passive (Jazz, TBird) basses and recently purchased a GR 2X12. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

They have a very powerful low end to them!
Absolutely!

I played my G&L L-2500 through my MXR synth and holy moly does this thing whomp! Ive gone back and forth between my Genz Uber Bass 212 and the Nu Classic and the NC has a very apparent extended low end. It never lost control though like some of the old 15s I played many years ago. It stays very focused and notes are extremely clear all the way down.

Next im going to run the GB Shuttlemax 9.2 into it and see what the tube channel sounds like. I have every reason to believe it will be spectacular.

I'm loving this thing! Great work Jeff!

Im going have to stick a towel under the head. Low D makes it vibrate forward. Low E makes it vibrate backwards. The kids are insisting I hammer D to E continuously. My 4 year old said "The amp looks like it's dancing!"

The tube channel on the Shuttlemax dimed just sounds like a million bucks. Now im wondering how the Kinetix would sound 🤔
You can use some of that semi-beaded, rubbery shelf liner.
