True - this was only for the photo - I use the pair of 112s OR the 212 + I could use the 212 and a 112, but haven't tried that yet.

I played last night for the opening act for Jackie Bristow (if you get a chance to see her, go. She is a great songwriter) and had numerous compliments on the sound of my rig from both musicians and non.
This gear just works! It sounds great, translates your playing and your bass, has amazing dispersion, and is an easy schlep. I really don't know what else a bass player could ask for... and if you need to, you just scale upward by adding two more cabs and damage the foundation

My friend just heard my magellan 800. He bought one this week but also got a BA12-3.. I need to hear his 12-3 now
To me the Genzler Arrays is what makes the difference in my tone. I've never played through better cabs whether I use the 12-3 or 210-3 arrays. Now I've tried and owned many different heads with these cabs and all sounded good but the Genzler 800 is a match made in heaven for those cabs.

That MG 800 looks huge on top of those BA10-2 cabs. How do you like that pairing?
Question for those with extensive knowledge of the Genzler 800. I've had several and gigged exclusively for the last year or so with them and have always heard people say that contour A is more warm and B is modern. To me the B seems more smooth and warm than anything I can get on the A. What settings do you guys use and what is your findings if the 2 contours?
Since I trust anyone that loves their Genzler gear, I hope you don't mind me taking you OT...
Looking for a compressor pedal. So far I've checked out MXR Bass Compressor, Xotic SP Compressor, Aguilar TLC Compressor and the Strymon OB.1 Optical Compressor.
They are all so different. Thought and opinions? Am I missing a good one? Not looking for any grit, just clean compression.

I use the Keeley Bassist and like it a lot. Check out www.ovnilab.com for great reviews of tons of compressors
IME the Joe Meek Floor Q is my absolute favorite, and its' bonus is that its' controllable output is sufficient that it can serve as an ultra clean preamp and drive a power amp by itself if needed.

You have it backwards, A is your bass clean with a mid scoop, bass and treble bump, and B is a low mid bump with treble cut. I use B at the 10:00 position with the drive channel gain between 10 and noon, all else flat. drool
For this mornings song list B will stay at 10:00 and I will be bumping up the drive to noon.
I need to start taking pictures of it out of the house, but I feel weird taking rig shots in public.

I initially liked the B (with settings similar to s-bigbottom) better than A, but lately have found myself using A for a lot of rooms. I think it depends on the room played in as to which I prefer. I generally like clean and do not often use the drive or if I do use it, not cranked much.
