Genzler Amplification ! New Genz Benz ?

Got it. That is about how I was carrying them up steps, too. Just not as convenient as side-mounted handles, IME/IMHO. And yes, strap handles on bigger/heavier cabs can be a pain, but I normally prefer recessed dish handles on the side of an enclosure, like on the new 2x12.

Yes, we chose the side recessed handles for the MG-212T just for the reasons you've been discussing. While at GB we pioneered the use of the Edge-lift handle on the top/sides of bass cabs, the taller the cab the less practical they become.

The side mounted handles also benefit when you can get a buddy to help carry one side.....at 1 or 2AM that's when you know who your friends are.

Will the MG-212 have built in dolly rollers like the NeoX & NX2?

Will the limited edition cabs be available for direct order or will we have to go through a dealer?
Hi,
I represent Sho Me Sound & Music and we are an authorized Genzler Amplificaton dealer.
My understanding is that the limited edition product will be first made available to the dealers and if there are any more available, then to end users direct. Also, my understanding is that the full product line will be available from either the dealers OR from Genzler Amplification direct. The main difference would be that some dealers may offer free shipping on some or most of the products plus any direct support any particular dealer may offer such as loaners in the event of a warranty failure. Also, all dealers will have a full product line with initial inventory.
Mr Genzler can correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

GAH!!! /\ I've got way more than 99 problems but I wish this was one.

Orale, ed, kill it with the Mav's and make Austin proud Mr Bass-Whisperer-Man. :bassist: :smug:

And if you follow the Bass Whisperer on Facebook, he's made a few updates about life on the road and his gear choices.

I also don't mean to go off topic, but I saw the Mavericks the last two Saturday nights -- in Raleigh, NC, and at the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Rhode Island. I am quite convinced this is one of the 10 best live bands in the world. And Ed looks like he is having the time of his life. If the Mavericks come to your town, drop everything and go.

Where can I check out the new stuff? I'm looking for a new rig.
Product info on the website goes live early next week. There will be a list of dealers who will have product to check out in about 2 weeks.
I hope that answers your question. Thanks for your interest.

I've worked a few Mav's shows over the past few years, they really put on a great show and I'm sure Ed fits right in. Definitely worth seeing IMO.
Totally. But while Ed is a lot better player, I hope Bob Reynolds can get himself back together, even if they decide to stick with Ed. Bob's a good guy with some problems, and it bums me out.
