My Ubers had a kind of cloth but it had a metal fiber woven thru the cloth.. its pretty darn durable..

I think that's actually Tolex and cloth with piping...vintage style with a twist.

I dont want to forget about these.. The BA112 pair ill bet is killer. But This tall ""212 Magellan""???? Think that is the name... Looks like the bigger daddy of teh killer neox 212 but with more ballz?

If the grill is like the older UBER GB grill that is a good thing. That grill has lasted years of constant abuse and use by me and some crews that i work with. In a road case and out..

The 212 Has what appears to be a circle between the two 12s.. Its barely visible thru the grill. Does anyone know if that is a PORT? Is teh Cab Tri ported at the bottom and TUBULAR type ports on the baffle too?

My eyes aren't as good as yours as I am trying to see what you are referring to but can't. We will know soon. I am really interested in trying out the 212 for myself.

Just to clarify, the Magellan series uses a similar material but different pattern grille cloth than the UBER cabs.
It does have a heavy woven fiber through it that does provide excellent durability.
The MG-212T is a slightly smaller design than the NEOX 212T and yes those are 2 additional ports on the 212 in order to achieve the optimum porting and response.

As I am afraid the way to Europe will be quite longer for the new products I would love to see Mr.Friedland testing them. I guess he must have tested the complete GB productline and should have enough experience to compare the new Genzler products to them.

Ah, good to know. I will let an Australian friend of mine know about this.
What about Finland? I have musician friends there, one is a top 3 recording artist. He and I recorded one song together for a DVD video and I bet his bass player would LOVE to audition your Bass Array cab.

I had the chance to play one of the 112 array cabs in prototype and I was very impressed! It had very robust power handling capabilities, and natural sounding full-range tone. I haven't had the chance to see the other cabs or the head yet... But I'm excited to see what Jeff and the guys have come up with this time.

I'm sorry to say that I won't be doing video for these products as I am now the full-time bassist for the Mavericks, and the road schedule doesn't leave me time to shoot and edit.
