Genzler Overdrive Pedal.

Looks really interesting.

Here is a more in depth demonstration of how the pedal works and it's capabilities:

The only negative thing I have to say is that I really really dislike the visual design of the pedal, it looks very cold and soulless, and not even in a cool streamlined way, but to me in a really bland and kind of cheap way, which I bet is going to be very far from where it lands price wise.

Functionality wise though, which is what really matters anyway, I am genuinely impressed, it seems to be a killer drive pedal with a huge versatility, all while the controls are kept simple and fairly minimal, which I think makes it's versatility so much more impressive.

All drives ought to feature these controls as far as I am concerned, seems like the future, or at least a vision of the ideal future for drive pedals.

And then a more neutral observation, to me the "sub" name "classic overdrive" is kind of odd (honestly the headline name is too as far as I am concerned, sounds like the name of some boy band), taking all those above aspects into consideration, not really anything obviously classic about it, bar I guess the actual basic character of the 4 individual drive models that is build into it.

Please be aware that these are of course all just my personal opinions, I don't claim or have any delusions about them representing the ultimate one divine and only truth or anything like that, to each their own, also note that to me the visual design aspect of pedals is more or less irrelevant, so if the price, against my expectations, turns out to be more in line with what my pockets can handle I would be very interested in getting one, just expressing my honest impression from what I've seen and heard from this pedal so far.

Or actually I might be lying there, I think I would actually rather get an effects loop pedal with a clean blend, a HPF and a LPF, is there such a thing on the market, I can still see this pedal being very attractive to someone who wants it all in a one unit package?
