Related to nothing here (except maybe heartache) I noted that today would have been my dear friend and mentor's 70th birthday.
He passed away last year from liver cancer, and my heart has been broken ever since. There are a tiny handful of people who come into your life and change you forever. Rest easy, John. Wherever you are, I know you have a guitar in your hand and music in your soul. And maybe a shot of good Scotch in that hand, too, since that liver thing is finally over. I do know we used to love us a bit o' whiskey, back in the day.

Thanks. Likewise. Pretty sure John would be happy that I'm spending his birthday working on old standards and remembering our time together.
Here's one he and I learned back in the day. I was all of 19 years old. I had the voice of an angel back then. It's a little rougher these days, but I brought this song back into my life recently and I can't play it without thinking of him. Quite appropriate for Blues Monday, too.
Pretty severely underexposed film, there! Interesting that the rolls are numbered for a half-frame camera. And is that infrared film (going by the Agfa L IR, for my inquiry)?

If the probable state of mind of the photographer ~67-68 is taken into account, likely a very respectable job.
Recall reading one of the gals had a huge crush on a guy from Blue Cheer.
