Those PA horns are interesting. They don't look like the typical Voice Of The Theater cabs that bands favored at the time.

I always marvel at vintage images of bands and the equipment that was used. It was new at the time and coveted today.

Coveted? Maybe by some, but to me it's just Grumpy Old Gear!

Thanks for sharing the "Grumpy Old Gear" info! I had no idea who that happy guy sitting in front of it was...

My old Seattle band opened for him the in late 80s. At that time he was playing in The Dinosaurs along with people from various other famous Bay Area hippie bands. Good times.

And in truth, I'm currently working up a slde bass rig that'll use some pretty similar concepts. What is old is new...or sumthin'.
