Why are you guys so grumpy? And with the drought, who the hell still has a lawn?

Remember... For us "older" guys... These are the "golden years"!
I celebrate the fact that these fine gentlemen and and I have a history in common, so I'm glad to be grumpy to belong to this club! :D
Besides it's nice that they are polite when I grump! :D

A prairie dog can take down a bison if it goes on his lawn.

It rained so much this year here that it drowned out our 3 acres of gardens we replanted 4 times - so now I have to eat emu, bison, or venison. No fresh veggies makes me grumpy and the ones shipped in from Ca taste radioactive.

Agreed. But we need careful planning. We're coming from bad acid, chasing tail, and Zappa. The youngsters grew up with Oprah, lattes, and dating by phone. They've lost their sense of independence and think civility is the natural human state. They need to know that the G in GOF doesn't mean grandpa. Time to re-take the hill.

I've PM'd a few Zappa Plays Zappa shows over the past 5 years, and it's pretty cool hearing the material played authentically and in the Zappa context.

I was at the Portland ZPZ show from the DVD and saw a few of Frank's different bands over the years, including some of the most iconic early 70s lineups. ZPZ really does carry on the tradition in a very cool way.
